Hi Everyone,
I'm pregnant with our first child and have a conference that would require air travel during my 30th week. Anyone have advice on whether I should make my flight reservations?
Thanks...

If you have had a normal pregnancy and are only pregnant with one, I would think your doctor would ok it. Usually they will up to or around 34 weeks. I know in the office I worked at it was ok til 34 out of the country and 36 within the country. Check with your doctors, but pretty sure you should be fine.

I am no expert, but for what it's worth, my doctor told me to fly or drive or do what I wish for as long and as far away as I wish up until about 36 weeks (then he preferred me close to home/him). The only caution he gave me was to take frequent breaks to get up and move so blood didn't pool in my ankles. I say book your flight while it's cheap, enjoy getting away (if possible) and be sure to bring home a souvenir for the baby!

But again, no expert, just relaying info :)
