i know this might come off as a little desperate and it is lol...but i was just wondering if any singles moms in the phoenix area with a 9-10 month old would like to go on a playdate? I have friends, but none of them have kids and cant really relate. Plus, i need adult conversation!

I feel the same way you do. I live in Ft. Huachuca wich is about 3 hours away from you. I have lived here for 2 years and still haven't been able to find a close friend or find someone that has the same interests and is a mom. My husband is deploying pretty soon and it is going to be a really lonely time for me.

You can connect with other moms in the Phoenix area at http://phoenix.momslikeme.com. I live in Nashville and I'm apart of the Nashville site. It's been a great way for me to meet new moms and schedule play-dates and I'm sure the Phoenix site could help you too.

Definetly not alone on this one! Check your area for groups, here in Michigan we have groups called MOPS, a group of mothers and their children who have playdates on a regular basis, and the occasional night for just the moms, a GREAT social network if its available in your area!

sorry i live all the way in australia but i would just like to let you know that you dont sound desperate a lot of mothers feel like you do :D sorry to get your hopes up but i just wanted to make u realise youre not alone :D
