at what age did ur baby start walking??

My son turned a year May 14th. He's now 16 months and still not walking. He's been cruising in a walker since he was 5 months old, crawling since 8 months and pulling himself up on furniture, walking around it, climbing stairs and furniture and standng alone for months now, just won't take those steps! My daughter walked at 14 months and was RUNNING at 15 months. I didn't walk until I was 18 months. I think it has to do with his size, he has VERY chubby legs and when he stands, almost has to do the splits lol. All his developmental skills are right on cue otherwise!

My baby starting walking around 15 months. She speed crawled, then started pulling herself up and just stood there, till she was walking while hanging on to things. Then she got confident enough to make a few steps at a time, till before we knew it she's speed walking!

My daughter is 1 y/o and does not walk yet...she cruises like crazy, but no walking...actually starting to get annoyed cause it is the #1 question I get asked about her: "is she walking?"

my oldest was born in 11/05 he was 12 m...my second was born 05/08 he was 8 m and my baby was born 05/09 and he's one today and still not walking

My oldest child started walking at 10 months and skipped the crawl stage, but my newest one is still crawling full force! She wants to walk by holding your fingers, but walking bent over hurts my back! She doesn't like those walkers cause they go too fast. I'll give her more time, cause she has very small feet. Only in a size 2w!! Does anyone else have small feet on their baby?

My first child started walking at 9 months old(skipped crawling altogether) and my second child has not started walking on his own yet but is cruising the furniture but he did not start crawling until 10 months.

At 8 months she could walk across the room by herself.

She can now run fast and climb ANYTHING.

My first took his first steps at 14 months, fully walking at 15 months. My second took her first steps at almost 10 months and was running at 11 months.

My son turned 1-year old on the 10th and started walking a couple weeks before that. He's been cruising along furniture and pulling himself up since he was almost 8 months. I just think he was scared of falling. He's able to walk around the house, but I haven't really let him walk outside yet, until he's totally confident because I don't want him getting scraped knees/hands right away.

my first walked at 10 months. after that my second and third had a harder time learning and didnt walk until almost 18 months. my fourth was 1 on the 8th and isnt walking but it is due to her size and weak muscles. she is 13 lbs and 25 in long

My son Mitchell was born May 09 and he still is not crawling. He still cannot stand on his legs and support himself. He is working with a physical therapist, so hopefully he will be able to cruise around soon! My older son, born Feb 07, was walking at 10 months.

I have 7 children.My latest to walk have been my 1st who was 18 months ans my 6th who was 17 months.My 3rd however was just 10 months,so I agree,they're all very different.

My 1st child walked at 14months, my 2nd child walked at 10 months and my 3rd is 1 next week and has been walking almost 2 weeks now.
