i think i am having braxton hicks but am not sure....after having sex i get contractions all night and all the next day....they get pretty bad that they wake me up through the night all night...during the day they arent so bad but they are still here every so often.....this is braxton hicks right? im 34 weeks...this happens everytime i have sex..i pay for it all night and the next day..should i stop having sex?

Probably BH if they go away and only happen afterward. All the physical stimulation brings them on. :) Sex can indeed help bring labor on, usually though only if you're already starting to go into labor. It can't start labor if it isn't time for your body to start, but can help soften the cervix if you're already starting dialation or effacing.

if it goes away it is BH but sex does induce labour so stopping is up to as long as your dr says sex is safe. I have BHs after having sex as well so I think its normal.
