Can u get pregnant even taking contraceptive pill?

yes you can! my mother was on the pill when she conceived me. if you have been taking any antibiotics, you need to talk to a dr.

YES!! YES!! YES!! I got pregnant with my son while taking Ortho Tricyclen-lo... and I took it religiously by an alarm clock set on my cell phone. I guess I'm one of the exceptions to the 99% effective rule :) However, I've taken other birth control that has made my menses stop all together. There's a lot of different factors that can play a role, for example, having an irregular cycle to begin with.

yes you can...i got pregnant with my daughter while i was on the pill..i had only given birth my son was 4wks old when i got pregnant with my daughter.

I got pregnant with my first child while on the contraceptive pill but everybody is different, it could be stressed related also.

i got pregnant while taking the pill, hence i have lovely gracie. it doesnt work if u take antibiotics, or if ur sick or have diarrea. but if ur not sure check with ur doc. but coils ok and so is injection.

yes you can, I was on the pill when i got pregnat with my 2nd baby, so now i have a 13 monht old and 2 1/2 month old..so it happens i would definetaly do a pregnancy test just to make sure, i later learned that after you have a baby that is when you are most fertile again! so pill didnt work for me after i had my 1st and I now have an IUD, trying to remember to take a pill while taking care of 2 babies its kind of hard :) well hope everything goes well for you!

I never took contraceptives but all my sisters did and one of my sisters got pregnant 3x within 3 and a half years once was on the depo and the other 2 were while taking the pill religiously same time everyday right after waking up to get eready for school. It happens some people are just really fertile :) And if you have taken any antibiotics or glucose they lower the strength of your contracetive.... Just test it will save you alotof worry if you just know!!! Let us know too :)

Contraceptives aren't 100% ever. I was on the nuvaring both times I found out I was pregnant 5 1/2 yrs ago and 1 yr ago. No worry about missing a pill, just change it on schedule. I just am thankful to have had it work for so long w/o getting pregnant! Some people say "I would use something else then" but its the only method that has worked for my lifestyle and my body didn't have a negative reaction so all I can do is :-)

I was on the pill when I fell pregnant with Haylee, it's only 95-99.5% effective. But if your like me and forget a pill every now and then it's even less effective lol
