My eldest commando crawled at 5 months and properly crawled at 8 months. My youngest started crawling at 4 months on the dot!

typically from 6 months old till they are about 10 months they are suppose to crawl if they dont you definately dont want to start letting them walk it can be cruciall to thier well being and to thier learning so if she isnt by the time she is 8 months I would contact my doctor and find out how concerned they are at this age with the baby not crawling.

my daughter just turned 8 months on the 22nd and the day before she crawled for the first time forward, most of the time she would go backwards but she was after a ball that was rolling around on the floor. it was so cute she had the motion going then she went. every child is different. my friends daughter that is 6 weeks older hasn't even tried to crawl yet.

my daughter is 8 months and 1 week old and she started combat crawling when she was 6 months and 2 weeks old.. she did that for about 2 weeks and then she started the real crawling.. she is now standing on her on with holding on to something.. =)
you don't have to worry about crawling.. some babies skip that completely and go strait to walking! =)

All Babies are different my son is 8 months and all he does which he has been doing for a few weeks now is the combat crawl, so I think it's when they are ready.

My daughter was 6 weeks premature. She is eight and a half months now and just starting to try to crawl. By the time shes supposed to be eight months (about a month or so) Im sure she will be crawling. If it takes longer though I will just consider myself lucky.

I guess it all depends on your baby. Whether he/she is ready to crawl or do anything else. My son is 8 months and 3 weeks and he started crawling about 2 weeks ago. Now he's starting to talk.

My daughter is 8 and a half months old and starting to crawl, shuffles her knees a couple of times then gets frustrated so tries to get up on her feet and walk, it's so funny.

My daughter started "army crawling" when she was about 6 months old. She never did crawl "normally"! She just went straight to walking. My son will be 8 months old tomorrow and he doesn't crawl at all.

Babies are supposed to crawl when they are ready to :) They are all different. My first son skipped right past crawling to walking (at 6 months)...and my youngest is 8 months and is trying really hard to crawl!

They can crawl anywhere from 5 to 10 months. Crawling has a big gap for what is normal. My son just started crawling at about eight in half months. What I did was not give him toys that he wanted everytime he fussed. Also ignoring him a little when he was trying to get those toys let him get determined enough to get them. I know boys do most things later than girls. Alot of girl babies I know crawled at five months most boy babies I know was anywhere from 8-10 months.
