YES!! My 10 month old growls all the time. He seems to communicate in growls, sniffs, and waving. My other two boys also growled and both made the "grudge" noise much to my husbands delight, he loved that movie and it scared the crap out of me.

Yes my 6 month old growls when she's tired or mad. I noticed it one day when I put her on her playmat I was washing dishes and I heard a growling noise she was rubbing her eyes and looked up at me and growled I just thought it was funny and cute so I picked her up and put her in the crib to fall asleep. She's 6 months now and does it still. My oldest would do it also when she was a baby I call them my little monster's :D

My baby growls, too. My other kids (now 6 and 3) did not, so I thought it was really funny and cute that she does. It isn't necessarily a growl like an animal does it, but just making a noise when she's concentrating on something, usually. So cute!

We have a growler, too! Or at least we used to.. Probably from 5-8 months she would growl a lot, it was really cute and funny and I kind of miss it. It then changed over to a really loud yelling that was playful and happy. We, for some reason, encouraged that and would yell with her and realized we created a monster. We had to start ignoring the yell and she only does it occasionally now! lol It was fun but not so fun in stores or when we were on the phone with our boss or something!

Yup ours growls. It's all about vocalization. Has since she was about 4 months old. We call her Zombie Baby and now that she is a bit older we say "what does a zombie say" and she'll growl. It's pretty funny.

She growls all the time when we play and she's feeling silly. She grumbles and sort of mutters quietly and happily when she is nursing. My old cat used to do the same thing when she ate so we think it's kind of cute.

Yes! I just thought my daughter Madison was just as weird as her mommy and daddy! lol My fiance kept thinking it was because he listens to Metal and she likes it and she was imitating the growling. It's so cute though.

My daughter Lela has been growling since she was probably 4 months old. She like to growl at you and get you to growl back. Its a game to her but there where time I worried that she was going to hurt her vocal cords because she would growl so hard it would make her cough. But her little voice is just fine and now she make many more sounds along with her growling.

My daughter growls all the time when she is happy, I think she does this as a form vocalization. We just growl back at her and everyone laughs....
