I am a mom with eczema kids too. Ethan has his eczema since he was 4 months old. We've tried everything , he is currently on aqua cream and also ointment to control his flare. my sis and i had it when we were younger and my daughter has it but very mildly bc her skin is so sensitive. its not something u can just get rid of u kind of just have to prevent. but ur lil girl could also outgrow this. in the winter i still get a few spots on me. did ur doc order a hydrocortizone cream? thats what we all used also be careful of the soap, lotion and laundry detergent u are using. things with fragrance and unneccessary ingrediants tend to irritate the skin on my lil girl i use plain dove soap, and for laundry detergent the baby dreft doesnt seem to bother her. good luck

My son had baby eczema only when he was a few months younger. He has grown out of it now, but I used Aveeno baby lotion(there are different kinds, one specificly for eczema).It worked really well!

My niece has eczema really bad and my son has it a little (not nearly as bad) I use a lotion called CeraVe. It seems to work really well for me. The key is to make sure to use it a lot .. don't bath him every day ... this dries out the skin even more making the out break worse. I put the lotion on at every diaper change. The hydrocortizone (i just use over the counter) works great for the itching and i believe i use the stuff that has 3% cotizone in it and my dr says that is fine.

I have a 10 month old baby boy that just was diagnosed with Eczema. The is a skin condition of dry skin. It will stay with them as they get older it does not fully go away. I am suggesting that you change the lotion and baby wash that you use. I have been using the shea butter johnson and johnson baby wash and lotion. It has been doing wonders for him. Give her luke warm baths and keep her away from any fire or anything that is drying her skin out. Also ask your peditrician for a prescribed hydrocortizon cream to help with the itching. Another thing is to buy some laundry detergent just for her and wash her clothes and baby blankets seperately from your laundry and the harsher detergents. I use Dreft now. He used to have about 7 rings on his legs and now he only has one. I also put lotion on the spots everytime I change his diaper to keep it moturized this has also helped out alot.
