My daughter is very chill and low maintenance. My husband and I have tickets to USC vs Oregon State basketball game next weekend. I'm still trying to line up a sitter, but I was thinking if worse comes to worse we could take her and just leave early if we need to. Moms, do you have any thoughts on this?

Just take her. we took my oldest to a baseball game and she loved the noise and lights and stuff. i think she was around one. we took her to football. took the baby (now 9 month) to baseball this summer, but she 6 weeks, slept through the whole thing in the front pack.
I have 3 kids and we always take them, if they re used to it and you don t make a big deal of it; ours do great. most of the time. have fun

My daughter's been to an NHL hockey game, college basketball game, Sesame Street Live, and Curious George Live (she has an older brother). I'm still exclusively nursing her, so leaving her with a sitter isn't really an option. If she gets fussy, I'll put her in a baby carrier too (I LOVE the Baby K'tan) and wear her standing in the back. She's always been great, but it's even a little easier now that she'll eat finger foods. Yesterday she sat in the stroller eating a biter biscuit while I was in the dentist chair. I bet she say for 30 minutes without making a sounds. Of course you may not be able to focus on the game as much, but it's very do-able at this age.
Oh and you might want to make sure that under 2 years old are free. At Vanderbilt Basketball games here in Nashville, EVERYONE has to have a ticket (even babies that can't sit in a seat). Ridiculous!

I've taken my daughter to a few baseball games and a basketball game. She was pretty young for the baseball games, the first one she slept through completely and the second one she slept for most of. We were at the basketball game recently and she loved it because there is so much going on...lots of distractions to keep her entertained. I brought extra formula and biscuits with me in case she got cranky. I also used by baby carrier which made walking around with her and getting to our seats much easier.
