I am also going with Mallorie for a girl!! I am using Mallorie or Malorie. What are you using for a middle name? I like Malorie Kathleen and also Malorie Dianne. All of my kids middle name are named after members of out family. We have Gavin Nathaniel and Isabel Dehlia. Kathleen is my mother in law and Dianne is my mother. So we will end up tossing a coin i'm sure!!

well i have a name that isnt too common and even though people misspell it a lot and didnt pronounce it right all the time i LOVED being different in school and not having the same name as everyone else and as an adult i still feel the same way so i personally would go for more of a unique way of spelling it like maloree but that's just my opinion...whatever way you do it will be cute:)

I would say go with the most common spelling or the one you are most comfortable with. I believe the most common would be Mallory. You have to remember that your child is going to be the one for the rest of her life having to spell out her name if people are constantly misspelling it because it is spelled in an uncommon way. Plus, it makes it harder to get store-bought personalized items, such as pens, mugs, necklaces with her name on it. My daughter's name is Hailey. I am still sure that it is one of the most common ways to spell it, but we are still dealing with all of this because there are several common ways of spelling her name. It is a bit of a pain and frustrating to correct people when writing it or not being able to buy her the cute sparkly necklace at the store because it is spelled "Haley." (Which, no offense to anyone, but this looks like the last name Haley or even "halley" to me.) I don't think the other spellings of Mallory are nearly as common.

I looked in my baby name book for you. It has over 60,000 names in it. Under the name Mallory it says: Mallory : (German) Meaning-Army counselor. Mallorie: (French) A form of Mallory French meaning- unlucky.
Based on that I would stick with the traditional spelling of Mallory. I went to high school with a girl spelling it like that, and let me tell you, she IS gorgrous!
Hope that helped!

I would spell it Mallory or Mallorie.
If you get too creative with the spelling people are going to mispronounce it. And spelling it odd is cute when you are little but not as an adult.
