My daughter is now 10 months old, but still only has 4 teeth. There are 2 on the top, and 2 on the bottom, all on front. My niece who is just about 2 months older has a lot more teeth, and if I remember correctly... she had about 6-8 teeth when she was my daughter's age. Should I be worried that she hasn't cut anymore teeth yet?

My 10month old Has 6 teeth but i dont think t is something you should worry about. Not yet atleast. Landen (my son) was a horrible teether. And he had 4 come thru with in 10days of eachother. But my daughter she took her sweet time getting her teeth and didnt really teethe too bad.
Best of luck to you and when the rest of them come in that precious smile youve come to love will change..so just sit back and take it all in.

my baby was born on may 29th... he has 8 teeth 4 on top and 4 on bottom... he didn't get them untill about 6-7 month old but my first son got his first teeth at the age of 4 months., so yes they are all different in a special way!!!

Gerald started teething when he was 3 months old and popped his first tooth, end of November when he was 6 months old, his second end of December, end of January all four top front teeth came through and nothing since... I found something that helps pop those teeth through, Get a carrot (the long ones, not carrot sicks) and refrigerate them... when the baby gets fussy... give them one. They can't choke, it's healthy for them, and it's cold and hard and it makes their gums feel a lot better.

My daughter was born May 8 and was 5 weeks early and she just now as a tooth making its appearance. You can barely see it. I've heard the longer it takes for them to get them in the better their teeth will be.

My daughter is 10 months as well and has ONE tooth and it is on the bottom! I've been worried as well b/c all the other babies her age already have had theirs and they have a bunch. I hear they all come fast and furious when they come this late. I'm waiting!

My little boy was also born 22nd May. He only has 2 teeth at the bottom and one tooth that has slightly cut at the top.

I don't think there's any need to worry, every baby is different. My son just turned 10 months, also and he has 8 teeth! I think it might be a few more than normal for a baby that age, but it's funny 'cause other people look at their babies that are the same age or older than mine and freak out, thinking that their kids are behind!

My son will be 10 months (born May 29th) and he still has no teeth. They have been playing peek-a-boo since he was 6 months (you would see white for a week and then you wouldn't). I am not going to sweat it because my son has always done things on his own time. I don't want to get stuck in the comparison game with him because I find society already does enought of that...that I don't want to do that to him. He is who he is and I want him to be okay with that - whatever his age1

don't worry some kids don't have any teeth at a year. One of mine didn't get any till 11 months and the other two got them at 10 months. My 10 month old right now only has 3 that just recently came in.

my son is 10 1/2 months and he only has 2 teeth both on the bottom. The thing is though his dad didn't get any teeth till he was one. And i heard the longer it takes to get teeth the stronger they are

My daughter was born May 8th and only has her two bottom teeth! We were told by our dental hygenist that the slower they come in the better the spacing will be, so hopefully no braces for us!!!!

My son was born May 1st, 6 weeks premie and has 7 teeth, three on bottom and four on the top...our neighbors son was born July 5th and just how got his 1st tooth but my son has had his since he was 6 months...everyone is different.

My 10 month old daughter only has two teeth. My first daughter only started cutting her first tooth one week before her first birthday! So nothing to worry about. :o)

Honestly , I wouldn't worry cuz my son is 10 months and just got his third tooth......all on the bottom. Some kids are just a little late with things but it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with them. All kids are different, some are more advanced and some aren't but it's nothing to worry about. My 10yr old daughter did everything at her own pace, she didn't crawl or walk until SHE was ready and she's fine. She only had 4 teeth on her 1st birthday, it's really no biggy.

my daughter only has 1 and 1 half way in i heard the later they get their teeth the better , she eats like a horse it doesint really effect her eating in any way , i think thats most important

My son, born May 23rd has 6 teeth. 4 on top and two on the bottom! And he cut 2 of the ones on top at the same time, just recently. No need to worry! When SHE is ready! :)

My daughter is 10 months 2 weeks and barely has her 1st tooth. Don't worry my friends lil girl was 16 months before she got her 1st tooth.

my son was born on may 25th, he has 4 top and 3 bottom, my sisters son (my nephew) was born on may 26th and he just cut his first tooth on the bottom, all kids are different, no worries :)

Hi my 10month old only cut his first today! it does not matter how long they take to come through, the longer they take apparently the healthier they are, so don't worry x

Well I figure that she's teething, since EVERYTHING gets put in her mouth as soon as it hits the palm of her hand. I didn't think that mulitple teeth could all come at once though, so I've lerned something new. Thanks for all of your responces! All were helpful, and a few of them were pretty funny. ; )

My daughter was born 5/29 and at 9 months she had zero teeth. She now has 2 teeth - a top right fang and one on the bottom right. My poor baby looks like a jack-o-lantern, LOL!

don't worry. my 10 month old just has the 2 bottom teeth. my oldest had 4 when he was a year. they come in at different times with each child. good luck

My daughter has her two bottom teeth in the front, and the two teeth next to the top middle teeth are coming in. These two teeth are about 1/4 of the way down, but it still looks so cute! All I can think when I peek in her mouth and see them is: "all I want for christmas is my two front teeth" because she hasn't gotten those yet! :D

My daughter is just over 10 months old and she has NO teeth. At her 9 month check up the doctor said she has no signs of getting them anytime soon. Not much has changed in a month either. A friend of mine's little guy is almost two and only has 5 I believe. I wouldn't worry. Sounds like you child is ahead of the game in terms of teeth! Good luck!

I would not be concerned both my little niece of 17 months only has 8, and my nephew of the same age has lots more, Adam is also 10 months (mine) he has 6 but he cut 4 with in a week (at christmas) and the other 2 seemed to take ages and are only just coming thru!!

My 10 month old only has her 2 bottom teeth. I wouldn't worry about it, I think all kids just get there teeth at different times. I have friends with 10 month olds who still don't have any teeth.

My daughter turned 10months yesterday she has 5 teeth, 3 top and 2 bottom but my friends daughter is 1yr 5days she has only 2. No need to worry.

My daughter was born May 28th. Up until two weeks ago she had two teeth (both on the bottom that you could actually see when she was born, but that cut when she was four months old). In two weeks she has had three teeth come in and one more that is almost through the skin...so in a matter of three weeks she will have cut at least four teeth.
It is highly possible that your baby will do something similar...

No! Every baby is different. My daughter is 10 1/2 months and has 6 teeth but my friend's baby is 10 days older than my daughter and he only has 2 teeth. Every baby is different. I wouldn't stress about it. My kids are kinda crazy when it comes to getting teeth-they get like 2-4 at the same time.

Just like all the other moms said, every baby reaches their milestones differently, so don't be worried! My little girl, Gracie, was born May 14, 2009 and she now has 7 teeth. She only had 3 until a week ago, and then 4 on the top came in at the same time!

my son was born on the 22nd of may and he has only just sprouted his first teeth! the two on top and the two on the bottom. as kelci said all babies are different and they all reach their milestones when they're ready :)

My daughter is about to be 11 months old but when she turned 10 months old she has 5 theeth she still does 4 on top and 1 on bottom she got her top teeth first beileve it or not. all babies are different so no you shouldnt be worried at all :]
