how much baby food does your 7 month eat a day?

my daughter has been sleeping through the night since 7weeks old. shes been eating solids since 4-5 months. she eats about 4-5 6oz bottles, 2 tablespoons of cereal, 2-3 jars of baby food, some gerber puffs, & some gerber yogurt melts a day.

my daughter eats a jar (gerber 2nd foods) each of vegetables and fruit a day. plus 28 oz of formula. she loves eating the veggies and fruit. i put about 6-7 teaspoons of cereal in her nighttime bottle and she sleeps all through the night.

my son eats about 1/3 jar of fruits in the morning and about 3 Tbsp of cereal, he doesn't take any cereal for lunch - but will sometimes take mum mum's broken into little pieces, and then for supper about 1/3 jar of vegetable and about 3 Tbsp of cereal and then some more mum mum's. He drinks roughly 4 - 8oz bottles and we give him a sippy cup with water with each meal and throughout the day as well. (he'll take more or less cereal and foods depending on the flavor) He is about 21 lbs.

I do homemade baby food, which tastes great & is cheaper than buying. I also use wholesomebabyfood.com. My son eats about 15oz of baby food (which would be about 3 1/2 jars of stage 2) plus 2 cereal servings of about 1/3C. (dry) every day. He also takes in about 25-30oz of breastmilk a day and drinks a couple of oz. of water/juice.

He started sleeping 12 hrs a night at 13 weeks, but then around 5 mo. started waking up constantly at night hungry. We started solids & he immediately went back to 12hrs. Then a month or so later, he strated waking up again so we upped his solids a bit & immediately, back to normal. Hang in there!!

Food intake at this stage is not as critical as watching fluid intake. Remember that you always want baby to get at least 26 fl oz daily. A full tummy does help some sleep better as long as they are diegesting every thing okay- otherwise you may get a reaction of baby upset so no sleep! I found with my Morgan she really prefers to eat finger rather than spoon fed stuff. Try small bananna wedges, cherios, cooked pears cut up small. She may also rather enjoy self served meals.

My son has been sleeping through the nihgt since about 2 1/2 months old. He eats approx. 32oz of formula a day and about 3-4 jars of food per day. He is a big boy, but all babies are different. I think Juliana put is best, offer the solids first. And some moms don't believe in putting cereal in the bottle. But putting 2-3 teasppons in the before bedtime bottle does help, especially if she really isnt into foods yet. Hope this helps.

my son eats solids 3x per day and about 1/2 jar each time. i started him at 4 months...jus offer the solids maybe 2x per day, before the milk and she'll eventually get there.
