Is it just me or is anyone having weird dreams/ nightmares?

For the past weeks or two I have been having the hardest time sleeping. I keep having dreams about something bad happening either with my husband, my son or the baby on the way and it wakes me up frequently. I did read that it can be a hormone thing, just wondering if anyone else is having this problem also.

Oh I hear that this is soo normal, and it certainly happened to me.  Especially when I did a J-term class in Ecuador and was away from my boyfriend.  I'd even have some really messed up ones where the baby was born completely deformed and I freaked out and killed it.  That was in January.. otherwise it's supsided quite a bit since I'm back home.

My first and second trimester I had the worst dreams ever, loosing baby, being kidnapped, dying, ect. I would avoid going to sleep. The doctor said that it was just hormones and would pass, it did. I still have very vivid and frequent dreams but they have just weird now. Once I stopped stressing about them so much they went away without notice.

I've been having weird dreams that usually involve whatever show I've been watching before going to bed. I dvr a lot of the shows I watch, so that way I don't have to make sure I watch them when they air, so I'll sometimes watch 2-4 episodes of a certain show before bed, then dream that I'm in the show or something. Pretty weird, but I'm enjoying being able to sleep that good to dream, haven't had dreams in a long time before getting pregnant.

It's normal ! I talked to a public health care nurse that told me it was... LOL

I haven't had to many weird dreams about me and the baby.

It's all been other odd stuff. Like one night, I was out fighting crime with Chuck Norris. I don't remember what all happened but it was ODD !!

And I had another this morning. I was so annoyed when my niece sent me a text message and woke up me.

I have too. They were rare earlier, but now they're more frequent. I'm having a girl and I dreamt I had twins and they were both in pink towels so i named them Ilayna and Ileena, and then I was walking and lifted one of the towels... Ileena was a boy.

More recently I've been having dreams about labor, premature birth, and stuff like that. Night before last I dreamt about carseats and strollers and recalls.

I think "What to Expect When You're Expecting" has something about dreams in it. I haven't really had a chance to look at that part yet.
