Is it ok to give my almost 9 month old girl yogurt?

my ped told me too staet yogert he just turned 9 months 2 days ago but i have been givin it to him since i think he was 5 or 6 monthshe also said too start feeding table boods and meat but it has too be cut small and its not tough too chew. hope this helps

My 8 month old daughter loves the YoBaby yogurt! I was nervous about giving it to her at first because of the milk but I checked out their website and it's whole milk and is perfectly fine to give babies 6 months and older!

My 9 month old has been having yoghurt since he was 6 months old, Just make sure that you give her a yoghurt designed for babies though - don't give her just any old yoghurt as it will be too harsh on her delicate little tummy. Hope she enjoys it!

I started giving fromage frais at 6 mths and yoghurts at 8 mths. Think both are fine from 6 mths though. Started on yoghurts as my daugter was eating too many fromage frais and wanted to give her variety.

Yup. my son has been eating yogurt for a month now...introduced at almost 8 months. He really likes it. I just make sure when there's fruit flavours, he's already experienced THAT fruit.

my sons had yogurt since he was 6 months old petit filous are suitable from 4 months .natural yogurts fine as well just make sure there not diet versions as babys need the full fat x

My doc said it was okay to give them yogurt and cheese as early as 6 months as long as no reactions. Because of the enzymes it is easier for them to digest even thou they aren't soposed to get dairy till they are 1. My little guy loves yogurt. He eats the yogurt melts, has had yobaby and the gerber kind. He likes the yobaby better thou.

i have been giving my daughter yogurt all types since she was 7 months old they suggest just try a little bit and if no reaction then they should be fine. my daughter loves it.

My daughter has been having yoghurt since she was 7 months and absolutely loves it!!!...she has a tub a day. She has the Baby Vaalia brand (6mths onwards)...not sure if you have this brand in the USA? The calcium is good for their bones!!!

I use the Yobaby (refrigerator) and the Gerber (baby food aisle). He devours both. I think we have been feeding him yogurt since he was 7 1/2 months. He also likes the yogurt melts. We have skipped any with berries because he had eczema after we started baby food with berries.

I have been reading that its good to start introducing yogurt between 8-10 months. I make all of my daughters baby food so what I do is take 1cup of plain yogurt and 1 whole banana and blend it all then add some baby oatmeal to thicken it up. I just gave it to her for the fist time yesterday. She LOVED it!

Yogurt's fine to give the baby at this point. I love eating plain yogurt myself so i always have stoneyfield plain yogurt in the house and i give it to my 9 mth old daughter. She's had no issues from eating it and loves it! I actually tried the yobaby yogurt with my son when he was a baby but it just seemed to liquidy he didn't really care for it.

Stonyfield farms makes an organic baby yogurt with fruit and cereal in it. My 9 month old has been eating it for about two months. We used it when he was on an antibiotic to replace some of his gut microflora.

I just took my son to his 9 month appointment and I wasnt sure about yogurt either but she actually told me to give him yogurt and cottage cheese, just make sure its whole milk. I guess Yoplait makes one called Yobaby. I gave my son cottage cheese and he loved it!
