I fell pregnant with #3 when #2 was 8 months old. Both #1 and #2 were delivered by caesarean, but I was able to have #3 naturally! Best of luck! :o)

Awww congratulations on trying! Our son will be 6 months old this week and my husband and I have been trying for a couple of months. I exclusively breastfed the little guy up until about a month ago when I dried up so my cycles aren't regular yet. I think that's why we haven't conceived so far. We are definitely trying for #2 now and while both of our families think we're crazy and ridiculous, we couldn't be more excited! :) Good luck!

My DR and midwife want me to wait at least a year before getting pregnant again after my c-section. I am well healed but had a painful delivery, back labour and some blood loss. So I guess it depends a lot on your previous labour and delivery. I've heard it's easier to get back in shape and you recover faster if you wait at least a year between babies.

My OB told me as long as the births of my babies were 12-15 month apart I could even have a VBAC- as my first was also a C-section. That means I can try for another when number one is 6 mos.

Awww I want another one too. My daughter is 6 months and if my hubby would let me I would go off BC right now and try for another. I had a C-section too but I think I'm all healed up from that. Good luck trying for # 2 mama!

I already want more also. However, wanting and getting are two very different realities in my case. My husband is not ready for a second or else I too would be trying. Good luck! Having had a c-section, I think your only risk is to be more likely to have a second c-section. If you want to deliver naturally, some OB will perform a v-back. This is becoming more common but there are a few risks involved.

i wish i could have another right away, but darling husband vetoed that idea right away! Your body is made to have babies and if your doc says you'll be fine i'm sure you will be! Good luck and have fun....I miss being pregnant soooo much!

My eldest was one when I fell pregnant with my son and they are very close and love playing together and going to preschool together. I fell pregnant with my 3rd just after my son was one and they both worship her.

I had caeseraeans with all 3 and was classed as high risk with my 3rd but luckily had no problems, was just very closely monitered which was quite reasuring as you know they will spot any problems early on.

I would say go for it, it's lovely to see them grow up together and go and have a chat with the doctor if you are worried about being more at risk having had a previous section.

Best of luck

my daughter was three months when we started tryin for number two. i fell pregnant right away after only a few days. i thought id start to try when she was three months because it took 7-8 months to make my daughter and i wanted them close in age but i felt so lucky to fall pregnant 1st time this time around :-D.

so i have a daughter born 8th may 2009 and her new brother or sister will be due 28th may. im about 9 n half weeks now :)

ive herd that you should wate a little longer to try again if you have a ceaserean because of the scaring but my mum fell pregnant with my brother only three months after having me. she had 3 c-sections in 4 years and she was fine after it all.

good luck with whatever you choose x
