May 22nd Babies and Milestones

Hello May 22 Moms! My son Bailey was born at 8:49 pm with a full head of hair and a big set of lungs. He weighed 8lbs 3 oz and was 10 days early.



He has also started on solid food...rice cereal twice a day. I only give him a tbsp at breakfast time and at supper time. The doctor says not to give him any more than that because he weighs 16lbs 6oz (pretty much has doubled his birth weight) and because he suffers from acid reflux. I haven't tried any other food other than the rice cereal.



Bailey has just discovered his thumb, thank goodness! He is teething and I have little puncture wounds on my fingers from him trying to suck on them. He loves music and like to wake up at 4 in the morning to sing to me....and no I am not exaggerating....he actually lays there and coos and gurgles and lalala's every morning for the last two weeks.



Sleep pattern is on somewhat of a routine. Bath at 7:30 pm, feed and then bed at 8:00 pm. He sleeps until the 4:00 am "wakeup call" and then feeds, goes back to sleep til 6:30 when the alarm goes off for his sister to wake up for school.



Bailey loves to laugh...he gave me his first belly laugh just this evening. I loved every minute of it.



He is breastfed, as well as takes a supplemental bottle of expressed milk and/or a bottle of formula. He is a lazy eater. He will only breastfeed one ounce off each side but I can pump another 3-4 oz after feeding.

Hello. My precious girl Melanie Paige was born May 22 at 7:23 pm she was 7lbs 9oz and was 20.5 inches long. And she had and still has a ton of hair.



She is breast feeding full time and gets a bottle when at daycare and I give her cereal in the morning and right before bed. She sleeps all the way through the night(yay) so I am getting awesome sleep.



She does roll over and is trying to crawl she scoots on her belly. Her favorite thing is her Jump a Roo, she gets that thing going. Also likes her bumbo chair but not for to long and her monkey gym.



She loves her pacifier and her older sister they are just so cute together! Melanie is a very very vocal baby and she loves to scream. She has recently notices her feet so she is always putting them in her mouth and it is the cutest thing ever!

Awww...how cute! My son was also born on May 22, 2009 2:20 pm. He weighed 8lbs 9 oz and no hair. Both of my children were born bald :)



I did start Austin on cereal and he does great with it. I tried some carrots for a week and it constipated him really bad so I backed off and decided to try again at 5 months with the baby food.



Austin did start rolling over about 2 weeks ago :) It is the cutest thing to watch. I think he is going to crawl anytime..he tried so hard to scoot once he is on his tummy! He doesn't sleep through the night yet. He sleeps about 5 hours then wakes up hungry and goes right back to sleep. he also babbles all the time and looks at you like he is just having the greatest converstation ever :)
