I have twin noys born may 13th 09 and they arent walking yet either, One of them can stand on his own for awhile and took a step the other dy and they both hold on to furniture or whatever and walk but not alone, I am using a dolls pram (my daughters) and get them to hold it and walk with it because it moves unlike furniture and its making one of my boys alot more confident, So maybe that or a wagon or something bubs can hold at standing height and walk, I have my hands close though incase the pram takes off haha. Hope this helps =) it certainly helping us.

Well, as of May 28th my son is officially walking. I say officially because he walked from the living room to the kitchen. Which is like 15 20 steps for him. Before it was 3 or 4 steps and then a fall to he's rump. But now he's figured out formula and he can't be stopped. Unless of course he's tried, then it's back to the old reliable crawl.

my son (10 May) has been walking for 3 weeks now, he started walking on the bed at 10 months but would not walk on the floor. he also started climbing before he could walk. he now refuses to sit down, has only one nap per day and is really busy during the day!

Lily is cruising everywhere and walks whilst held. Manages to hold her balance for a few seconds but is not yet taking those confident steps on her own. Lily was one on 16/5... she'll get there soon no doubt, she's managing to destruct everything in her path already whilst crawling around and is awesome on her tippy toes, has discovered it gives her more height to see those things she really shouldn't be getting to ;). No need to worry, she's developing fine.

Gabriel has been walking independently since 9 1/2 months. Before that he could do it holding my finger or my pant leg. Now he's non-stop wanting to go places. He'll even go on walks with me up the street.

My daughter will take a few steps when I'm looking, but when Im not (people have told me) or when she thinks no one is looking she'll walk like 5 steps. She does however furniture walk like a pro, and if I or someone is willing to be hunched over for long periods of time, she will walk great when she holds on to our hand(s).

mine is taking steps... and then falling to his bum and off crawling. He's walked the length of a bedroom (small) and part of a living room, when no one is looking. when he has to repeat he goes to his crawling.
He had pictures today, was asked to stand for a bit. and he showed her.. its his way or no way :) in the end he stood.. for his Tigger..

Today was my daughter's first birthday. She can cruise around things but still can stand alone. She was born @ 34 weeks and only weighed 3.2 lbs. So really she's doing just fine! Besides I'm not going to rush things with her because I know once she gets the walking part down, she'll be running before I know it! YIKES!!!!

My daughter's not walking alone yet. She will walk all round the house while holding onto someone's hands, she'll walk for a bit while pushing something along and she'll stand alone holding onto the couch or other furniture. If she stands alone, she'll manage it for a few seconds and then either fall forward or back.

My little miss just turned one on the 21st and i thought that she would of walked by now, but decided that she will walk holding onto us or around the furniture and all that and will take a few steps but will drop to her bum and crawl away laughing her head off lol, do you think she thinks its a game???

My May baby has been walking for almost 3 months. He is pretty much running now. He has a hard time when he walks with shoes on but the doctor said it was ok. One leg is really curved but she said it should straighten out by the time he is 2.

My daughter just took her first 3 steps 2 days ago!! She cruised furniture for quite awhile and now she is becoming more and more confident every day. One day she just all of a sudden became more secure in her footing and would just stand w/o holding onto something and now the taking steps has started. My parents bought her the Fisher Price Go Baby Go and it has been awesome!! She LOVES it!!! It has helped her balance and desire to walk SO much!!! They just got it for her last weekend and already I can see a BIG improvement!!! But don't stress about it! My twins didn't walk until 13-14 mos and some are later than that. They have their own timing and will do it when they are ready!! :)

I don´t think so, Jóel is 1 yr old today and still not walking, he walks only aroumd the furniture and the walls, my kids usually walk between 13months and 14 months, and the doctors say it´s normal! So I don´t think you have anything to worry about, if they are still not walking after 18months, then I think you need to talk to your GP about it.

My daughter tuned one on the 24th- she walks all along the funiture and she is all over the house walking with her chair or car(walker) and she often lets go. She has taken ONE step on her own. YAY! She still drops onto her bum to crawl
