My 8 month old son has had a stuffed up nose for about a week. He just got over a cold 2 weeks ago and has not had any other symptoms besides the stuffed nose since then. Sometimes when he is trying to breath he feels flemmy in his chest (which really worries me)!
I am beginning to think that it could be dust in his room OR the dry air from the heater (which I keep at 66-68 degrees during the winter nights) I have been using a humidifier and saline drops which do not seem to help. I was also thinking that it could be from teething?? Is that possible?
I am waiting to here back from his doctor but wanted to see if anyone has any advice or experience with this. Thanks so much!

It could be that he is cutting a tooth, my son had a stuffy nose the whole time he was cutting his first tooth and it cleared up after about a week ( very similar stories lol) i thought it was a cold at first but my pediatrician said it is VERY common for them to be stuffy when they are teething..:) (O and i remember i tried using the saline drops too and they definitely did not work well)
