Hi-

My name is Sarah and I am new to your community. My due date is set for May 10th. But it looks like I will be having a C-section so we are looking forward to our little bundle of joy joining us towards the end of April. We are going to be having another girl.....Giana. We already have an incredible, smart, beautiful daughter, Isabella. She will be turning 4 next July. I am still having issues with the potty trining with her.....HELP! ;)

My husband is currantly deployed overseas and from our mouths to Gods ears he will be home in time to be hear for the special day.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, and Safe 2009!

Hi there-My name is Rebecca and I am also new to the community. I am having the exact same problem right now. I have a son who will be 4 on July 20th and we are expecting number 2 on May 25th. I have tried letting him walk around without a diaper on but he just can't control when he has to pee. I guess we just have to constantly be putting them on the toilet until they figure it out. If you find any good suggestions, let me know. Good luck!

Hi Sarah! My due date is May 11th! This is my first baby, so I haven't potty trained my own children yet, but I've nannied extensively, esp through potty training years. One of the little girls I worked with (age 4) was a real challenge - she could hold it really well, but just refused to use the potty. I set her up with a schedule during the hours I was with her and would have her sit on her potty chair or the toilet with her iPod or in front of the TV for 10 minutes or until she went. We were doing this every half hour or 45 minutes, which was a little annoying, but she adapted to the schedule within a few days since she got to do something she liked while she was on the potty. It was also a reward that as soon as she went potty, she could get up, and maybe skip the next potty session. Within a few weeks, accidents on my shift were rare and we were able to cut back on my prompting.

Good luck and Merry Christmas!
