My son will be 1 in two weeks. Night terrors run on both my husbands and my side of the family. He also has really bad nightmares. My son is not getting a goodnights sleep and I am not really sleeping that much either. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thank you! I will trby that. I know that he naps during the day at daycare. My husband and I try to stick to a routine but both being in the army it can be hard. He screams and thrashes to. It so scary! I hope this works, it bto reaks my heart to even think about him hurting or being scared!

I have similar problems. My son will scream like a banshee and is still asleep. Terrifies me! I watched a special on tv about night terrors. They mentioned no liquids before bed, stick to a routine, and make sure they get naps during the day. Things have gotten a bit better now. He still occasionally screams and he is a thrasher, but it has improved his sleeping overall.
