My daughter did not get teeth until she was 1! But now she has a mouth full. Plus they say the later they het them the healthier the teeth are :)

My Baby girl turned 1 on May 27th and still has no teeth! I was worried at first so i talked to her doctor and she said not to worry if she still has no teeth by 15 months then she will send us to a dentist.

My baby and my nieces baby are 9 days apart mine has 8 teeth and hers just got his 1st 2 they are all dif. My baby looks like a giant next to hers too and so much older. It's hard to believe they are the same age. Mine hhas always out wieghed hers by at least 7lbs since they were a couple months old too lol when we are together every1 is always shocked they are the same age. My baby was big tho and hers on the smaller side so it looks drastic lol

My 1st son didn't get his 1st tooth until he was 13 months and 1 week old. In all honesty, my dr, and now the dentist, say it's better for them when they get their teeth later on rather then 4+ months. Here's the reasoning I got from hearing about it. With them not having teeth is if your baby gets juice, the sugar isn't sitting on their teeth eroding the enamal away. She'll get them when she's ready. I don't know if you've heard anything about the dr. going in to cut her gums, but my dr told me they don't do that until 18 months, so you still have a while, and I'm sure each pediatrician is different. My son turned one year on May 8th & his teeth started coming out last week only. It’s quite common. Every baby is different..so don’t worry. Also my mom told me later the teeth come in, the healthier they'll be…So in a way it’s better...

hi my daughter turned 1 on the 11th of may and she has no teeth yet. the doctor says its fine she doesnt have any idication of any coming in just chewing on everything but no bumps or anything.

your baby may has calcium &vitamin D deficiency,need supplementations and also need for sun exposure on early morning or one hour befor sunset, did she stand yet????

Hello! My daughter is now 13 months and does not have any teeth. Babies younger than her have at least 4 teeth. My pediatrician said if she does not get teeth this month we may have to see a dentist. She also asked me if getting teeth late runs in my family. After asking around I found out that my mother and father were both at least 12 months when they got teeth. Go figure!

I'm so happy to hear that someone else's baby has no teeth. Punky is 13 months and still no teeth. Her doctor said no sign of them coming soon either. I was worried for a while but we have all just gotten use to it now. I know they will come in eventually. Thank you for posting this.

My daughter just turned 1 on 23rd May. I saw her first tooth about to errupt a week before her immunization. Her first tooth has cut through her gums but it's taking forever to grow. Most toddlers develope a little bit later then most, but nothing to worry about. They say the later their teeth comes, the longer it will last. Good luck...

I have heard from some pretty wise women that the longer it takes for the teeth to come in, the longer they will have their teeth!! My baby only had two teeth at one, and then on her birthday she got her first top one, and a week later the 2nd top one...everyone is different!! :)

my daughter was also 1 on the 21st may and she has not long cut her second tooth. I wouldnt worry she will cut them when she is ready. the only i trouble i am having is solids, she wont eat alot of lumps due to ot being able to chew them proberly

My daughter turned 1 on the 21st too. She had no teeth up until 9 days ago. As of today she has 3 on the bottom two on the top and 4 more on top that are cutting through. Is it CRAZY that she went an entire year w/ none and now getting a mouth full all at once!!! Your baby will get there no worries, they will come.

My daughter turned 1 on may 21st as well. She does have only 2 teeth so far but a friend of my had a son who did not get any teeth until he was 16 months. He is now 5 and has all the appropriate teeth so I don't think you sould worry to much. My son got his first two teeth at 5 months and my daughter did not get her first two until she was 10 1/2 months so they all get them at different times.

My daughter also turned 1 on the 21st of May. She has no teeth yet. the doctor wasn't worried. He said we'll wait until 15m, if anything they can do a panoramic xray to see if anything is in the works. But not to worry right now. They also say the teeth last longer and are healthier because they don't have any residue to linger and cause caveties. So in a way, its better. :)

im so glad i came across this topic. my baby turned 1 on the 2nd of may. it took her 9 months to get 1 tooth then about a month after that she got her 2nd. since then nothing. i was considering taking her to the dentist to have x-rays to make sure her teeth were there lol..crazy i know but all the other babies around me the same age have almost a mouth full of teeth. i was getting worried..this makes me feel better. im not alone

Hi yes my baby girl turned one May 28th and no teeth!! Meant to be a good thing!! She will get them when she ready dont stress!!! I still breastfeed twice a day so its a good thing for me!!! :)

Its quite common. At the baby clinic our health visitor said none of her three had teeth til over one.

My son got one just a week before his birthday, and grew another a week after!

My daughter just turned 1yr a few days ago, her teeth started coming out last month at 11months. I have some friends and family babies having teeth as early as 4months. So I have learned that every baby is different and therefor they will have different milestones. My older son who is 7yrs old had teeth by 6months. So dont you worry and just be patient. those teeth WILL come!!!

My cousins son is there. He doesnt have any teeth and he is a year and a half. She tries to make sure he has a frozen teething ring. And that is helping a bit. Her doctor said to keep giving him that and the teeth will eventually comeout. And he also told he to try giving him crackers and baby buscuits and stuff like that. My sons teeth started coming in when i gave him these tablet things. They are called "Teething Tablets" they are all natural and work wonders.
