I officially packed up my "skinny" clothes about a week ago, but I've been gradually taking out the maternity clothes the last 2 months or so... they are just more comfortable! Why be any more uncomfortable than you have to be when you're pregnant.

Yay! I'm not the only one! I'm only just at 20 weeks and have been wearing maternity clothes for almost a month now. Second pregnancy! I lent out a lot of my maternity clothes, but have managed to have the favour returned by friends! Also, with the second time around, I really know this time which type/styles I will be most comfortable in. Benifit of experience I suppose, fashion goes out the window a little in return for comfort and movement. Unbelievable how quickly it happened!

the annoying thing is,i got through my first pregnancy whilst wearing my "normal" clothes, but with this one,i found my clothes were tighter straight away and so uncomfortable!!!!so got straight onto the case of buying some much needed maternity clothes!!!relief!!but i had a miscarriage 2 weeks before i got pregnant with this one and i was 8 weeks with that one,so am just wondering if some of my bump could also be from that one as it all happened super quick!!

Yeah...I'm 15 weeks and just bought some trousers and jeans (sales and consignment), but they don't really fit yet (first pregnancy). Other than needing a good pair of black trousers, I wear my bella bands with about every pre-pregnancy trousers and jeans. I'd be lost without them.

I'm about 15 weeks pregnant I wear maternity clothes every once in awhile my jeans still fit me but are getting tight around my belly and are starting to hurt! so maternity pants are really comforable! this is my second pregnancy so i'm showing sooner then i did with my first.

My sister told me about the bellaband... which has kept me in some of my pants so I didn't have to buy too much at first. They come in 3 different sizes and a bunch of colors and are pretty comfortable. I am hoping this will keep me from having to buy too much more in the way of maternity clothes since none of my friends were even close to my size when they were pregnant.

I am about 14 weeks along and I do need maternity clothes. Right now, I just unbutton my jeans and wear longer tops. I have a problem with Maternity pants because they don't really have my size. I am a very petite person, and even the smallest size doesn't fit correctly. It fits in the stomach but they are way to big in the hips and legs. Later on, when my hips widen, I will fit into them, but for now, I have to go the unbuttoned jeans route.

YES! I noticed at 9 weeks my clothes for way too uncomfortable. It was at about 10 that I gave up and bought a few pairs of maternity pants to wear to work. I have had to buy winter tops because none of the sweaters I have are long enough to stay down below my belly when I teach and Im not even that big yet! I have to admit since this is my first, I have had to drag a pregnant friend of mine with me to try on maternity clothes. It made me feel better to know I wasnt the only one using safety pins and rubber bands to keep my jeans on. I feel your pain.

Who needs discomfort when you're pregnant! Besides, I have a great maternity wardrobe from my first pregnancy and it's like I've been on a shopping spree! tee hee. I'm 14 1/2 weeks and have been wearing maternity pants for about 2 weeks. Shirts I just busted out.
