For some reason my lil man is in a screaming phase. Different pitched screams depending on what he wants. He gets screachingly high!!!!!!

my 10 month old say dada, daaaaaaaaadee (he nearly wet himself with excitement), Ta and wiss (my sons name is Lewis and she says this when pointing at him). We have been baby signing for a while so she does sign words, more, food, milk, hello, goodbye, enough and we think she attempted cat. am sure the chattering will star soon, note though no mama :(

My little guy growls, shrieks, yells, is saying dada, mama, right here (my mom asks "where's Mamaw's baby?" then points to him and says,"right here") and a few others. He too can get a little loud.

My little one says momma, dada, kitty, uck ( for duck and truck) and just started saying hi! But he loves to scream as well very loudly until he runs out of breath and then he sighs..so cute but it does hurt the ears. Think he is just experimenting with his voice register.

Our 10 month old son says a few words, ma-ma,-da-da, ah-da (aka all done) and trying hard to say puppy and duck. He too does the screaming and even growling at times ....especially when he's frustrated! I hope it is just a phase. He also shakes his head no now that he understands what that means:)

My baby doesn't scream, but she loves to growl...I think she is imitating the dogs when they play tug of war! She says mama, dada, kisses, yah (when you ask her a question) and I love you. She is imitating me also, she said blanket and help the other day, but only once....She is also using some sign language too!

Oh thank goodness mine isn't the only baby doing the screeching and screaming thing...I was beginning to get a little worried. I don't remember my daughter doing that, so I thought Jack was becoming a fussy boy! He says mama all the time, between screaming and banging his fist on the highchair and then smiling like an angel!

My baby boy, born May 9, just said his first word, "Art." He also says "Up" has said "Mama" once or twice. Other than that it's just grunts, babbling and screeches.

My daughter Haeley born May 17th said her first word "Maman" at 5mths. Now she's got Mom, Papa.Dada, baba ( her bottle), bobo, KeeKee ( our older daughter Keera), no, go and whats that? down pat. Occasionally she'll say ball or up or whatever else that's been repeated a gazillion times that day but in the end...it's still mostly babble.

My daughter doesn't scream much. She babbles on a lot. The main word she says is 'Dad', all the time! She can say 'Mum' when she wants to, mainly when she cry's. She also says 'tickle' and wriggles her fingers likes shes actually trying to tickle you. We're all amazed that she can say this as we thought it would be a difficult word for her age. She also occasionally says 'Nan', 'Ted' and 'Doggy' but it's always 'Dad, Dad, Dad!'

My son has mastered mama. I think that is because daddy is overseas but he has got it down. He does say dada and bubba for his brother and nana. Not sure what that means but he is saying something. But most of the time it is making noise and screaming but thankfully not that much screaming.

No actual words yet - or at least none that are in English LOL. He's definitely got his own little language with word like sounds and sentances. He is also in a squealing phase. I hope people know he's screeching with joy! He was especially happy today with the sunny, warm weather.

I know my baby doesn't know what she's saying and it's really just coincidental that it is a real word but she likes to say the "S**T* word and very loudly and repeatedly. Neither my husband or I use this word so it's really funny to hear. Mostly she just yells or growls but she does say a few legitemate words like: mama, dada, hey (not fond of this one), hi, and a few others.

No screaming here (yet!!) but he can say:
all done
da-da
dog
hello

He is working on Ma-ma. And he can do "all done" & "more" in sign language.

A couple of months ago, my son was saying momma, dada, nana, oh yeah, oh well, and baba (for our dog bear), but now all he wants to do is screech and scream, and it seems as though he's forgotten every word he knew except for momma. He crawls around repeating it over and over again all day long. And he calls everyone momma now. Me, his dad, my mom, and my dad lol.
