I know as we're all nearing the last month, we are ready to meet our babies, not to mention all the weird and icky stuff that's happening to us. But I thought I'd take a minute to mention the good stuff. I think it's amazing to look down at my belly and see it wiggle or flip flop. I can see my baby girl move around. Either a little bump will trail across my belly or my entire stomach will shift from one side to the other. I've even felt her stretched out with her top poking out of my sides and her bottom poking out of the other. It's so amazing to me and makes me feel closer to her. I'm not very big, I've gained about 24 pounds so far ( i was 124 when I became pregnant). I don't know if this is the reason I can see her so well. I know other people (including my fiance) make the comment that i'm not big at all. Some women tell me they were WAY bigger than me. I've learned not to let it get to me though because the doctor never says anything about me being underweight and according to my What To Expect When You're Expecting book, I've been gaining weight at the perfect amount. Not to mention my fundal height has been matching my weeks exactly. I love that I can see my baby though. Is anyone else experiencing this visual experience? Do you have any funny stories about it? Also, does it make you feel more bonded to your baby? I can even get her to move more. I feel like bedtime is our time this is when she always does it.
