I know as we're all nearing the last month, we are ready to meet our babies, not to mention all the weird and icky stuff that's happening to us. But I thought I'd take a minute to mention the good stuff. I think it's amazing to look down at my belly and see it wiggle or flip flop. I can see my baby girl move around. Either a little bump will trail across my belly or my entire stomach will shift from one side to the other. I've even felt her stretched out with her top poking out of my sides and her bottom poking out of the other. It's so amazing to me and makes me feel closer to her. I'm not very big, I've gained about 24 pounds so far ( i was 124 when I became pregnant). I don't know if this is the reason I can see her so well. I know other people (including my fiance) make the comment that i'm not big at all. Some women tell me they were WAY bigger than me. I've learned not to let it get to me though because the doctor never says anything about me being underweight and according to my What To Expect When You're Expecting book, I've been gaining weight at the perfect amount. Not to mention my fundal height has been matching my weeks exactly. I love that I can see my baby though. Is anyone else experiencing this visual experience? Do you have any funny stories about it? Also, does it make you feel more bonded to your baby? I can even get her to move more. I feel like bedtime is our time this is when she always does it.

I think by this point in pregnancy most people can see their babies move regardless of their size, I started at an average weight and have gained 26 pounds at 33 weeks which is totally average (according to my OB, the scale still makes me cry lol) and I can see my little girl wiggling all the time... I agree that it is the best part of pregnancy. whenever my body hurts and i'm exhausted and I can't sleep and my fiance gets cranky cause I keep waking him up when I get up to pee (oh the joy) I lift up my shirt and poke my belly until I see her little feet poke out my side, and that just makes the whole last 8 months worth every minute!

Exactly!!! Except the getting up to pee doesn't wake my fiance. He gets frustrated because I toss and turn forever trying to get comfortable.

I agree that feeling the baby is the best part of pregnancy!  My husband and daughter have loved the last couple months.  They poke different parts of my belly and he kicks back.  I dont think my two year old understands what it is but she giggles and keeps trying it.  He used to look like he was attempting to climb out....on the couch or even at the park everyone noticed him moving.  And with the pregnancy people touching the belly doesnt freak me out!  Now that he is more head down I have been able to see almost a whole foot print sticking out....and it isnt due to my weight...I gained 50 with my first and around 25 so far so will prob hit about 35-40 cause I gain the most at the end...at least some is water ;)  This is our last we keep saying and it makes me said that I dont get to have this amazing feeling again!

I try to get my husband to catch him moving his butt across my belly.  He likes to roll a lot in there, and it is so funny to feel and watch him move at the same time.  He LOVES to move when I'm trying to sleep...never fails.  Or he'll never fail and lay on the opposite side that I want to sleep on and poke me in the ribs till I turn over.

Bumps all depend on the baby's position and everything.  :)  With my first no one knew I was preg until I was like 8 months along, this time he's sticking out up high.  :)  It is a wonderful feeling though.  And the ONLY part of being pregnant I'll miss....LOL

Even though I'm a few kilos overwieght I still get the same experience of our little girl spinning around. I haven't gained any weigth , but just maintained the same weight I had before I got pregnant. Even though she can knock the wind out of me with some of her kicks it is so funny to see a foot or her bum poking out of my stommack several times a day. Also when she has her hickups it is funny to feel her whole body shaking up and down. And now that she is getting bigger my hsuband can also feel both the hickups and the kicks on my stommack :o)

Yes! It's also great that now the fathers can enjoy it. Before it was hard for him to feel it because I'd feel it, but she could stop at any minute.
