We are expecting our 2nd child and i am having pains..

I am about 16 weeks with our second child my first pregnancy wasnt like this in the least bit and i am having pains in my lower abdomen and it feels like pressure and alot of it.. its really annoying.. anyone have anytips???

Hi Lesley. Though I haven't expierenced pains in my abdomen like you are describing my sister did. Her Dr said that it was ligament pain which can increase with every pregnancy. I would suggest that you ask your healthcare provider if it continues and you are worried about it. I feel it is best to ask and have a knowledge than to sit and worry.

Hi Lesley! I'm expecting in May too! (first pregnancy - with twins) I have had crazy abdomen pains periodically and found it's usually because my pants are too tight, or because I have gas. Do either of those sound like possibilities for you?? If you're really concerned about it, there is no harm in talking to your doctor :) I hope you find relief and answers. Sometimes it just helps put your mind at ease to simply KNOW what is causing the pains - or could be causing them if a specific reason is not known.
