2 years, 4 months~Sounds like the "perfect" gap to me! It is what it is and you are due soon. You will have so much fun and they will too!

My first two are 10 months apart (no,not on purpose) It was a little difficult in the beginning, but they are so close to each other I wouldn't change it for the world. My 2nd and 3rd are 23 months apart and they get along great too! I think it all depends on the child and the parent, if your ready for another one, go for it. Siblings will always have their ups and downs, but for the most part our have been more ups than downs. And the funny thing my 1st and my 3rd are about 3 years apart and they get along the best. I am due with our fourth and the seperation between this and the last will be 27months so we will see how it goes :)

I think 30 months is a really good age gap, my brother and I are 30 months apart and we got along pretty well as kids.
Im thinking of trying for a 3 yr age gap with my kids, so we will be trying for our 2nd later this year.
Im hoping that means that the terrible 2s are passing, potty training is done and he is talking so that its only hard to understand what 1 child needs.
I think it really depends on you and your child, can you cope with another? if yes then any age gap could work, its going to be hard either way, small or large gap. We are only just feeling ready to try for another

I love having my first two children 27 months apart. My son was completely potty trained, sleeping in his own room in a toddler bed, and pretty good at following simple instructions by the time his sister arrived. I'll admit, it was a rough first 6 months or so, but they are best friends now. They play very well together and make life pretty easy.

I'm expecting my 3rd in October, so my next two will be 28 months apart too. I figured if it worked great the first time around might as well try for the same age gap again.
