What's up with infant clothing sizes?

I know what you mean. i have so many cute clothes for my son that are in thee 0-3 month and i'm like is he ever gonna get to where he will fit in this. but i say as long as they are healthy and happy thats all that matters.

clothing sizes don't seem to match anymore.. it could go either way-- sometimes 0/3 is bigger than 3/6 and as far as the pounds go.. I don't trust them either.. she is 13 weeks and wearing 6/9 month clothes... this is just insane.. But Gerber for sure is the worst, carter or just one year has worked the best so far

Clothes sizes drive me nuts and everyone keeps telling me that I need to buy a size bigger than what I think she should be in so they are all buying her 3 to 6 month summer stuff when she still SWIMS in 0 to 3 months. She actually can still fit into some newborn stuff. natalie is 11 lbs 4 oz and 22 1/5 inches long.

My son its 11 weeks old, and he its wearing 3/6 too, I was told not to buy to much clothes since the grow like u say weed, he its adorable, and what about pampers he dosent fit on size 1/2 but size 3 its to big, thank god my sister In-law hand me down alot of clothing from her children, and that have save me alot of money; I read that if his sleeper don't fit anymore, cut the feet out and make them short, may give you few more use good luck

my son was born at exactly 40 weeks. he is almost 3 months old and wears newborn onesies, outfits and sleepers but when it comes to pants he has to have premies. its so hard to go get new stuff but after a while you get used to it and what will fit your kids. plus once you get used to a certain brand its pretty easy

My daughter was born 2 weeks early at 9pds 8ozs and 22 inches long, she is 10 weeks and 18 pds 26.5 inches! She is now in 12 month clothing...OMG can you say BIG GIRL!!

my son is only 2 mounths old and is wairing 6-9 mounth stuff.he is almost out of 1 year daipers to.i dont think thay size anything right

My little man is in 0-3 I like the clothes with what weight fits that size clothing.

My son is allready wearing 6 months. It's horrible! I wanted so much to have a small little guy for awhile and now I'm terrified he'll be a 2T before his 1st birthday. Boy do they grow fast.

My 2 month old can still fit some newborn, but mostly 0-3 months. She's now 9 lbs 5 oz. Fortunately I live in Florida so summer clothing is appropriate year round. Even in December we can do capris with a t-shirt and sweater. Our wardrobe doesn't change much from one season to the next.

My 9 week old is still in newborn size. She seems bigger,but they all still fit perfectly. Luckily I have not removed the tags on the other sizes so I could always take them back if the season changes before she grows into them. The Target brand seem to fit better to size than some others though!

Most of the brands I buy have a break down of the sizes with a weight chart on the label you take off. They seem to be more accurate than the age sizing.

yes! my 10 week old has been in 3-6 months since about 5 weeks lol. Gerber is the worst for sizing....try Carters! They seem to actually be on target with the right sizes.

They never make sense! You will learn the smaller sized ones and what ones work best for your son quickly! Gives you good insight when garage saling in the future and what brands to avoid.
