how soon is too soon to start wiening baby from formula? if its not to soon how should i do it? when i feed her baby food i mix the food with oatmeal should i be mixing it with formula too bc i havnt and she still eats it?

Remember breastmilk and formula are essential to their development. You aren't doing any harm by giving it to her. Keep her on formula for at least 1 year. Although you may want to keep the milk seperate from the baby food, imo. Let her understand the difference between food and milk. Once you start removing the formula from her diet she won't notice because she'll have all the other types of food to eat.

Babies need to be on breastmilk or formula untill a year. You should not give a baby cow milk untill they are a year old. And then give them whole milk untill they are 2 years old.

i feed my son oatmeal in the morning and mix it with a jar of fruit...he still gets his formula just not for every meal he gets a jar of food for luch and for dinner. it just depends on how you child eats and what they like. im not taking mine off formula til closer to a year then its gone!!!!
