lately I get terrible cramps in my legs. I now that it is normal during pregnancy, but for me it is new. I didn't experience it with my other pregnancies. Does anyone have any advice what to do about it? Can I prevent it?

I get them too ... Intense pain. Walking helps prevent them but the only thing that helps mind is cold. I keep gel packs in the freezer for when I wake up with them. Try cold ... It helps instantly.

I was told to try and walk them off, yes this can be painful but it does help releive them. The other thing that helps me is a warm bubble bath, it just seems to help my entire body to help relax. As far as preventing them i dont think there is anything we can do to stop it from happening as there is no real reason for it. Maybe suggest it to your doctor and see what they have to say ... maybe they have a few other tips, good luck!!

i have been getting them too , going to see my doctor so i will ask him heat packs are working for the back pain but nothing is working for my legs , i hope it stop , sorry i am not much help
