Anyone else have this problem? He's got 4 top teeth and 3 bottom ones and just keeps grinding them. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

My son just started doing this...his top tooth isn't even in all the way yet but he has 4 bottom teeth (he's almost 9 months old) I feel like he's going to break them lol I just try to give him a teething toy or I breastfeed...I read some of these replies and apparently we might be dealing with this for a while lol

I understand what you are going threw, my son done this till he was 3 and i asked the Dr, about it, and she said it is normal for them to do it and he should outgrow it,but told me there was nothing to do for it.

Omg! My son is 9mos, and three of his top.teeth came is yesterday, he has just srarted gringing the top and bottom two together. Im worried hes going to damage them. He never took a paci either, so I cant distract himm from chewing. How long does this phase go on for? This is my 3rd baby,, and my other two never did this before. Sigh....

My son does this too. It drives me bananas but I just give him a rattle or some toy he likes and it distracts him for a while.

Yup! All of mine have done the same thing. Just distract them with something so he'll stop. It's just new to him, it should stop on it's own.
