I gave birth May 28th and I am breastfeeding and still waiting for mine. My son has been sleeping threw the night since 1 month old so if you are breastfeeding you probably wont get your period till you completly stop. Not having it is normal if breastfeeding but you you are having pains I would go see a doctors to to make sure. I am happy mine hasnt come back yet lol it has been over a year and I wont complain lol :) gl

On the 12th, my baby girl will be 8 months old, and I have yet to start. I'm SO thankful that I don't have to deal with that on top of being a mommy to 3 kiddos under 5! :)
My first little one weaned himself at 6 months and wanted nothing more to do with breastfeeding. I started my period shortly after that.
With my middle little one, she didn't wean herself until a week before she turned 1, but I started my period at about 10 months after giving birth.
This time around, I'm just enjoying not having to deal with it but am keeping supplies handy at all times, especially if we're out and about! :)

With my first, I didn't get a period until she was 10 months old. Sadly, I got my period last month with this little guy. I exclusively breastfeed and did with my daughter as well.

My baby was due in May but I had him in March. I breastfeed, and it's 9 months now, still no period. I could care less if it ever comes back though. Most of my breastfeeding mom's who had babies in May still have no periods.

I still haven't had mine and my son is 7 months old. I didn't get a period till after 7 and a half months after my first so all good. Don't worry.

Every woman is different. Are you breastfeeding? If you are, breastfeeding can delay you from starting until you give it up.

I gave birth may 18. I have had one spotty weirdish peroid (if u would call it that), and nothing else. I am breast feeding and my doc said you can go a long time without one when u are nurseing. my problem is i still get a pretend period every month. Meaning cramps, headache, nausous, and the need for salt, all with out bleeding.

I gave birth on May 11th and still I have not had a period. so u are not alone. I don't have any pain or anything else. If ur pain is to much, i think you should go to the doctor or take a test to be sure ur not prego.

hi it's been 5 months since i gave birth and not here not worried as with first two was 13 months after i gave birth that i got it back and with number three it was a year so ithink it might be that long with this one .So i would not worry talk to dr or well child provider they will let you know if any thing to worry about .......oh and mine were all breast feed

I have had cramps and only just got mine, had Ethan on May 18th. You can go a verrrrry long time without it if you are breastfeeding. I don't know what the deal is if you are not breastfeeding but maybe it is the same, Enjoy it I say.

If you are having pain w/o bleeding similar to cramps then I would make an appointment with your Dr. Sometimes you could have other things happening within that you cannot see and your body's only way of telling you is pain. I have endometriosis and whenever I have pain w/o my cycle I now know I need to go in. However, the pain could just be your uterus finally completing it's healing and shrinking process and you just happen to be one who can feel it. It is normal to not have a period after birth for months on end and even more than a year if you are nursing so don't worry too much and only go in if the pain persists.

I had my second May 19. With my first I did not bleed the entire time I breastfed (6 months). I have had the same experience so far. I just recently (last week) stopped pumping and only do an occasional feeding from me when I am home and have to opportunity. If you are breastfeeding I wouldn't worry it is normal not to have a period.

i had my baby may 24th.... not breastfeeding, finally got my period 2 weeks ago... my doc said that your body is adjusting so its not uncommon to not get it for awhile

I haven't had a period yet either. I delivered on may 28 2010. Not only is it normal but if you are exclusively breast feeding it is also a natural but not 100% effective form of birth control. Be cautious though you do ovulate before you get your period so unless you are ready for another one right away use a back up breast feeding friendly form of birthcontol.

I also gave birth on 05/13/10 to my first child. Breastfeed for only two months as I wasn't producing enough. She's 20 weeks old now, and still no period. Glad to hear I'm not alone, but it sounds like I'm in the "go see the dr." category.

I had my son on the 22 May, I too have had some cramps etc but no period. I had heard that if your breastfeeding it can take longer to return. To be honest I had not even thought about not having it until I read this post.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago (I gave birth May 21) and my doctor said that was normal since I was breastfeeding. If you're not breastfeeding I would go see your doc.

If you are breastfeeding it is normal to not get your period until you have a rapid decrease in the frequency of which you are breastfeeding. If you are not breastfeeding typically you should get your period sooner (unless of course you were irregular before). If you are worried about it, it never hurts to talk to your doctor

I'm breastfeeding too and no period yet. Breastfeeding (especially if exclusive) releases hormones that stop you from ovulating (most times). So you shouldn't be getting a period. DISCLAIMER: Breastfeeding is not a good birth control method alone though!! I know people who have gotten pregnant again right away while breastfeeding.

I had my baby May 29th and started my period before she was six weeks...and I'm breastfeeding! It's the pits. Menstrual back pain is worse when you're carrying around a three month old all day.

I had my baby girl on May 12th I am exclusively breastfeeding and have yet to see my period... as far as I know this is normal for a breastfeeding mommy. So I wouldn't worry if you are breastfeeding.

I gave birth May 27th and my doctor said that if you are breastfeeding you should not get it. However, he also said that if you are not breastfeeding then you should get it within 4-5 weeks after you stop bleeding from giving birth. I will say this, I stopped breastfeeding about 6 weeks ago, only got my period while I was breastfeeding and once I stopped it stopped coming.

I gave birth on the 13th of May and I have had 1 real light one that lasted over a week and a really really heavy one that lasted only 4 days. Your body is all over the place after having a baby. I found when i had my first child who I breastfeed for 9mths I didn't get a period until after I stopped. I still had crapms and stuff for a little while but they faded. When I had my 3 child I got the implant (that gose in the arm) in and even thought I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months it was still a year before I got mine back. If you are worried definately go and see a doctor.

i havent got my either n i had my son may 17th, i spoke with an advice nurs and she thats common for breast feeding moms. but if your not breast feeding you should make an appoitment and see whats going on.

I gave birth to twins on May 16 & 17. I also have not had a period. I have had some spotting and some cramps. I have also been breast feeding which I know slows things down. Also if you have had sex since you gave birth it could be possible that you are pregnant again. I have 5 kids and between my 2nd and 3rd pregnancy I never got my period. Also you know your body better than anybody else, if you think something is wrong, see a doctor. (better safe then sorry) as the saying goes.

I was thinking that yeah i must be pregers but am just to afraid to do a test. Dont think I could cope with three under three and 2 under 1. lol could u imagine. And on top of that a 6yr old.

I gae birth May 18th and i'm pretty sure I had a period. It was so light though and last just 3 days. I have no cramps, just super light bleeding. I'm also breastfeeding and on the birth control pills that they give women who breastfeed. I can't remember the name.

Well i bled for the first 8 weeks straight to begin with. But yeah i've had mine 1x and should be here again soon. It makes a big difference if you are on birth control too. You should probably go see your doctor though.

Yep - mine returned this week :) I was told that once my son started sleeping through the night (I'm b/feeding exclusively) they would return. They were right! He's been sleeping through the past two weeks and it's just returned!

Im in the same boat as you. I gave birth a couple of weeks after you and I havent had mine either. Im breastfeeding, dont know if that makes a difference. But im achy like period cramps all the time. Hmmm maybe we are pregnant again haha jk, just thought I would throw some humor into the mix. Hope everything works out well for you. Im sure everything is fine!

Well if u aren't breast feeding then somtimes tou don't get your period but if your not breast feeding then ask you doctor about that
