I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped, I wiped up a snotty clear fluid and it took a couple of wipes to be completely dry but there was no blood, no pink and no brown, could that still be my mucus plug or I have no idea? My mom says not to call my doctor because I am full term but i have no idea what that was! Please help!

can definantly (and most likely is) the plug starting to loosen up.....you will probably find that over the next few days it may become a little blood streaked....that is pretty normal so make sure your bags are packed.....i have had 7 and haven't gone more than a week between when i started to lose the plug and delivery....so good luck!!

i've had my baby but a week and a half before he was born i had a bloody loss with what i thought was my show (mucus plug) and went into panic mode thinking at any moment i would be going into labour, a week and a half later i was super impatient and still pregnant and decided to do a few star jumps and totally weed myself, went to the toilet and had another show, this time without any blood, just discoloured mucus and alot of it. 3 hours later i was in labour! everyone is different, my only advice is to have your bags packed and be ready to go if you start contractions. good luck!

Definitely sounds like your mucus plug. The timing of everything can be different for everyone, but I lost my mucus plug one day and went into labor the next.

I lost my mucus plug on 4/30 as well and am still waiting for my little bundle of joy to arrive. Getting super impatient.

So I went to the doctor and she said that I was loosing my mucus plug and last night in my underwear I definitely had lost most of it in a lump. I had heard that that means I have 2 days max left but the doctor never said that so we will see :-D

Most likely it sounds like your mucus plug. I lost mine a couple days ago and that's what it looked like. Of course, mine still came out in small bits for the next day or so. As long as nothing else is wrong you should be fine. If you're worried at all you can always call and ask questions.

No offense to your mom and her knowledge, but I would call my doctor if I were you. Tell them what it looks like and they will let you know if it is your plug or not and if you need to go to the hospital. They get questions all the time and would rather you ask then let something go wrong. Hope that helps :)
