Our daughter has always been a great little sleeper but our son... My goodness. I dread bedtime. Just wondering what your LO's bedtime routine is? What time? And do they sleep in a crib, toddler bed, big bed, etc? Oh and nap schedule too! Thanks!!! :)

My little girl cant really make it through the day without two naps! lol. She naps at about 10-11am for anywhere between 1-3hrs, then again at about 4pm-5.30pm which is when I wake her up whether or not she's done.

I put both my kids (34month & 15month) to sleep at 7.30pm. We go brush their teeth and wash face & hands. Then we go change them into their pj's and night nappies. Then she goes into her cot with her binky & a blanket she loves to cuddle, then her regular blanket on top.

I tell her I love her and that its good night time, and lean over to give her a little hug and kiss, then out the door with a good night babies. And its all done.

Been doing this since she was about 6months, so I have no trouble from her. Get into a routine and stick to it, they'll eventually know that its the norm. Try whatever you can than helps, but I don't think any extreme measures are necessary. I think keep it short and sweet, always a light happy tone.
My little girl litterally giggles the whole way through the process of putting her to sleep till i'm out the door, then she's out like a light. Maybe that's just her? lol. But I didn't have trouble with my son either at her age. They both went to sleep so easily, its only waking during the night that caused me trouble.

My 16 month old sleeps in her crib. We brush her little teeth and make sure she's wearing something comfortable, and put her in her crib. She generally has 1 nap a day..... 2 if she gets up earlier or is just miserable. I put all 3 kids down about 7 pm because my oldest is now in kindergarten..... She wakes in the night when she's lost her binki, or has a gassy tummy, or is to hot or cold..... but quickly goes back to sleep. ♥ I rocked my first for an hour plus, and that got old fast! So I just put them in their cribs and let them figure out how to get themselves to sleep. Once they are doing that regularly, we put them in toddler beds after they are 18 months or so.... ♥

My son didn't sleep through the night until he was 13.5 months old. He is now down to one nap. He wakes up for the day between 6am-8am. We moved his lunch up to 11:00-11:30 depending on how hungry he is acting. He goes down for a a nap shortly after nap. So around noon. He naps anywhere from one hour to three hours. He still drinks milk before bed out of a sippy cup. So at 6:45 we warm up his milk. Put on his pj's and an overnight diaper. I rock him as he drinks his milk. Then I put him in his crib when he is done. He has a crib toy that lights up and plays music and I turn that on when I put him in. He watches it and eventually falls asleep. He usually falls asleep anywhere from 7-8pm. I just started taking a night class and my husband put him to bed. It was a struggle but he eventually fell asleep an hour later. I hope everything works out for you.

My Son has never fully slept thru the night until the last two weeks or so (knock on wood) I think the trick was more fluids during the day idk why though. Anyways he was always a napper He would nap at 11am, 4pm & 6pm with bed between 8-830pm he would wake at 12am and again at 3 or 4am and he would be up for good at 5am. With change in diet and him being a lil more active during the day his routine changed. He now wakes at 8-9am and may wake at 5-6am for just a bottle but not always.. he only takes one nap now about 1.5 hrs around 4-5pm I make sure he is up by 6:45 because dinner is at 7pm everynight, followed by a bath, sometimes we have a whole dressing routine we read or play a little but calmly or as soon as bath time is over we slide him right into bed (745) with a warm bottle and a bink we have a projector from fisher price and it plays just long enough for him to fall asleep. Bed time wasnt always easy though we had to cry it out june-july it was hard teething wasnt easy for him.
