Being induced

Don't worry you'll be fine! If it was your 1st you'd have more to be concerned about. I went onto labor with my 1st naturally as well but 10 days late and a false alarm to my water breaking, I had to be induced with my daughter as well. I was really hesitant and thought for sure I would have to get a c-section, but because your body already knows what to do it'll kick right in and hopefully, you'll get to wean off the petocin! I was able to deliver my daughter completly naturally and pain meds free, so you can totally do it to if that's what's best for you! Believe in yourself and your bodies natural ability to bring your beautiful baby into this world! Good luck, and congratulations on your new addition!

Good luck Emma! I hope it goes wonderfully. I'm still sort of stalled here, but seeing the midwife today, maybe she will sweep my membranes cuz I feel so close, just need an extra push! Hubby and I joked could probably just get a small shot of pitocin and I'd get going! Lol but I hope it's soon for us both!

well I haven't been induced yet I have to go back to the hospital at 7pm to have it done. But after having a sweep done this morning I have been having regular contractions and im losing a lot of mucus so I might not end up having to be induced

Hope it went smoothly! I had to be induced with my first. This one still has 2 weeks til he's due, and I'm hoping he'll decide to come soon! Pitocin sucks, but if I go a week late again, I'll probably end up with another 9+ lb baby, and they're not easy to push out!! Best of luck :)

Good luck girl!! My water broke last Sunday and labor wasn't going along well...I got the pitocin. Ugh it sucked...but honestly, its all good. All labor is painful..not just induced labor! The most important part is baby is born healthy!! And baby will be :)

I'm also a week overdue tomorrow! But my midwife says it's safe to go up to two weeks overdue so I wouldn't be induced until the 15th, I'm glad because I am not a fan of pitocin.....but I'm jealous you get your baby! I really want mine out too, but I guess I'd rather wait for natural labor, but then again the waiting is awful and I'd love it to be soon!
Best of luck to you and enjoy your mothers day gift! Maybe just maybe I'll go into labor tonight and deliver tomorrow too! I can sure hope right!
