All of a sudden at 11 weeks I started feeling my normal self again! Everyone is different but maybe relief will come soon for you all. Now I don't feel exhausted, nauseus, or achy. It's like I'm a new person, and I have my appetite back which is good cuz I should start gaining some weight now!

This is my first pregnancy and I haven't thrown up but have nausea mostly in the evening. Up until a couple days ago I couldn't even think about eating anything sweet. I havent gotten it really as bad these past two days. Most of the time I feel normal, which is a plus. It's hard when things you normally love turn out to be your worst enemy. :)

With my first child, I had the easist pregnancy. I was never sick! I only got heartburn in the last few weeks.. other than that it was so easy. Since I was about 5 weeks pregnant this time, I have been sick every minutes of every day! Chasing a two year old doesn't help either!

The zofran works wonders. I have the disentagrating ones. They just melt in your mouth. Kinda a sweet taste. I get unstoppable nausea with migraines that I've had the zofran for for about 3 years.

I had to get some Diclectin for my nausea. Some days it works great and others I still feel terrible. I find an afternoon nap works wonders, however I work full time so that doesn't happen very often! Here's hoping we all settle our tummies soon and start enjoying this pregnancy! :)

Stina- About Zofran, it's an anti-nausea medication that they used for cancer patients. My dr said there hasn't been a lot of studies done on it with pregnant women and their babies. I was put on it cause I started throwing up and couldn't stop and ended up in the hospital because of getting dehydrated with my 3rd child. So, I ended up using it with my 4th and 5th and now I just went on it yesterday cause my morning sickness it getting really bad.
I don't want to start the vomiting otherwise I know I won't be able to stop and end up in the hospital. The Zofran helps me from throwing up and keeps me out of the hospital.
It's a personal choice if you want to do it but you do have to talk to your dr about getting a prescripiton if you want it.
Otherwise the suggestions that the other ladies made would be wirth trying out.

Stina, just a thought for you, if you at least take folic acid pills this is vital to prevention of cerebral palsy. If your babys brain doesn't get enough folic acid while developing that's what causes cerebral palsy. I didn't know this with my first so I wasn't taking prenatal but I lucked out and he didn't have it but I think it's not worth risking. Thought you would be better off knowing!

As for nausea, I have it too! It's bad but I can cator to my stomach and help myself feel better. I eat a lot right before bed, late as possible. Then in the morning when nothing looks good I force myself to eat 2 mouthfuls at least. In a few minutes it starts getting better and so I can eat more. As long as I have food in my belly I feel ok but if I forget to eat BEFORe I get hungry I feel sick again. Oh and if you take ur vitamins at night you won't feel so bad.

ill have to research Zofran...never heard of it?....i dislike taking pills and i really force myself to take my usual meds to prevent one of those unbearing migraines i have...but if i can remember with my 2 pregnancies i didnt get migraines much...so i just have to worry about my knee pain and the 2nd surgery i cant have now..lol...so lets pray for no weight gain so it doesnt make my knee worse :)

thanks for the advice. right now cranberry apple juice and pretzels work wonders for me...i dont know if its the constant salt or constant sugar that soothes this baby..but it cant be good. so i have to be smart and just think before i eat ungodly amounts of salt OR sugar....i feel like i havent done this before..lol..my kids are 11 mos apart. just turned 2 & 3 a few weeks ago...so im used to being prego back to back that one time..and now ive been unprego for 2 yrs and this is a surprise...kinda nervous about everything...supposed to be graduating college soon. im due right in the middle of my last semester which is my internship...im just not sure whats gonna go on now...lol

I feel for you! I am pregnant with my 6th child and I got sick with every single one of them starting at 6wks to 2nd trimester. I was nauseous 24/7. With my 3rd child it really got bad and I was put on Zofran and with my 4th and 5th. I am 5 wks along tomorrow and have been feeling sick since Sept 10th which is weird, but it may be contributed to me having my last kid 6 mo's ago.
I am trying vitamin B6 in the morning & then will be trying half a tablet of unisom @ night. Both my sisters had their kids recently and they said it helped them some. If you do want to try this I would talk to your dr and make sure they are okay with it. If this doesn't work for me and I get worse then I will be going back on zofran. I also take zantac cause I develop acid reflux with my pregnancies and it gets bad.
All you can really do is do small meals, snack on crackers. If something doesn't sound good, don't eat it. And hang in there.

yeah im not taking prenatals...i know im supposed too..but my two kids were born 8 lbs and 10 lbs..so im not worried about them being healthy or developed...prenatals make me physically throw up from the time i swallow it til the next time i take another one..lol..so im sorry to admit but i just dont take them

i have a history of migraines. so i can no longer take those meds. i have to have another knee surgery and i can no longer take those meds. i have a feeling this 3rd pregnancy isnt going to be so magical...lol...

I also feel like I'm dying of nausea. I wear the sea-bands and sometimes I feel like they work, but mostly not. I wish I didn't have to go to work and sometimes I wish I didn't have a 2 year old also! :( I get hungry but can't eat etc. I hope it doesn't last past the 3 month mark or I might actually die! :)

Could it be your prenatal vitamins. I noticed i'm less nauseous if i don't take them so i'm going to ask my doctor to switch to a different one
