evernce around 17 1/2 months my daughter has been speaking 3 word senteces "i want milk" "I want eat" "go away bug." Around 2 weeks ago she started using full sentences with great pronunciation! "I have to go pee pee." I want to watch Elmo." "time to go night night." and just about anything else! I teach her a word or tell her what somthing is and she doesnt really forget it.Just wondering was it normal for children her age!(:

My 21 month old said to me yesterday, "Oops! By accident a flying ball bonked Grover on the nose!" I was blown away! It is a direct quote from a story book she enjoys but the fact that she can recall the sentence exactly as it's written was pretty impressive. She spoke her first words at 9 mo. and it's been all uphill from there. She told me today, "mommy, you my best friend. Mommy you so sweet!" I just love how she interacts with me as a little human. Her cognitive and language abilities obviously far surpass what is considered normal and I am aware that if we decide to have another, this might not reoccur. I am an elementary school teacher and base some of her language abilities on the fact that I have narrated every second of her day since she was born, have read to her every night and was an early talker myself. I am wondering now how to promote and foster an obvious linguistically gifted child. Any thoughts?

My daughter is 19months yesterday and although she isn't speaking in full sentences, she is absolutely speaking full conversations.... just in another language :) My fiances 4 year old son lives with us and he calls me Deborah (my name) and now my daughter is calling me that! Its cute but hearing my name constantly can be a tad annoying :) Her doctor says that once she figures out English she will already be speaking in full sentences, for now... its pretty stinkin cute ♥

My daughter, Payton, is speaking full sentences as well. She talks 24/7. This weekend she started having to take her baby doll "Abby" with her everywhere (even to the potty). It's so cute watching her take care of her baby. She even nurses her. lmao

My son says..:"Good job wolverine!" "Shoe on/shoe off." "Where kitty cat go?/Where sissy go?/Where daddy go?" "Movie on!" "Here you go." LOTS OF THINGS :D He is 18 months. Kids are sponges, for sure!

No that is not normal but what a treat! Lucky you. My twins are 19 months and have just two words... HI and baby and sometimes kitty cat:)... So cute! Enjoy your little one.

My son Gibbs dose two rods. "Love you" "Hi " Yum Yumms" " Night Night." I think that it is grate that your girl is doing well. My sisters kids were like that. Your girl speaks like my 2 1/2 year old. Good for you.

My 19 month old doesn't talk much. But when she does, its only one word at a time. No sentences, not even 2-3 words. Sounds like your daughter is advanced!!!! Love her name BTW!

wow thats awesome that she can speak so well.. my twins have two or three three work sentences and many words they say.. my daughter more so then my son but they arent doing full word sentences like yours just yet.. but they seems to talk to each other and understand each other which is fascinating to watch.
