I have a son. His name is Samuel. We call him Sam or Sammy mostly. His surname is Wilkins. After his father, whose name is Keith.
We're having a second son (no doubt about it!!!) and we can't pick a name.
We're probably going to wait and see him like we did with Sam, but i think it's nice to have ideas, and to get used to calling the bump something (even though i only have a week and a half til DD!!!)
Technically the bump is called Hector.
But then again, Sam (when in utero) was called Arthur.... My In laws are hilarious....
I was thinking alliteration... Sam and S....
But then i got told that would get confusing when the mail was delivered xD
Same goes for anything with a K. Not that i'd rule them out!!
What do you think is a nice name to go with Sam? With the Surname Wilkins??
I also have a lot of middle name choices.
Sam's are William Andrew after his maternal great grandfather and late uncle. I wanted Stephen Kenneth this time after his Paternal Grandfather (christian name) and his Maternal Grandfather (middle name)....
Other grandfathers (greats too) are Harry (Henry), Another Keith, Gordon, and Jimmy...
We also have uncles Clive, Michael and Craig and great uncles Daniel, Alan, Robin and Steven. So...
I know that's a lot of info!!! maybe you can help me sort it out in my head

Yes she seems to be quite enjoying my uterus, she doesnt want to come out! Jennifer Kehoe young is in labor! SHe posted it over in the dilation thread! She's only 37 weeks so I'm totally jealous she gets her baby before I get mine! Maybe tomorrow I'll go into labor, today was my due date so I guess I'm technically late :(

I think it's mostly in Hispanic countries and it's crept up into USA alot recently. I know a few from Mexico who have 5-7 names! It's crazy but they like to honor as many relatives as possible and many of the catholic cultures like to use tons of saints names

I remember you saying your girls will have no middle names right? Just Isabelle and Sophia....right?

It so not common here to have that many names, maybe that is why...I'm not used to it!

I just put three because her 1st son has three!
But honestly I'd have my kids have two middle names if my husband would agree with me! I think it sounds so nice to have long names and these days there's so many people sharing names having two middle names helps. I knew another Laura Elizabeth who was in my grade at school!
