1 ) We have only just told our families ay Christmas that we are expecting our third bub. Im nearly 20 weeks, so its been a good job keeping it a secret, though a few of my girlfriends have knows since I found out!
2 We are having another suprise! We already have one of each, so there was not even the temptation to find out this time. But I think its a girl!
3 Im going to give birth in the same hospital I had my other two in, - its also the hospital that I was born in, 25 years ago!
4 Im going to breastfeed. Will probably we tandem feeding as my 15 month old (will be 20 months when this bub is born) looks like he wont wean anytime soon- not that I want him to anyway. I love breastfeeding ♥
5 Looking forward to having 3 under 3, and the chaos that comes along with it all!

1 12 weeks, or else I would worry extra until that 12 week mark hit
2 need to know the sex or I may die lol
3 hospital birth, prob a c-section again
4 I make my own baby food, I would say that's pretty healthy
5 Taking baby for as many walks as possible so I benefit and baby enjoys the outdoors!

1. We told our families on Thanksgiving, I was about 14.5 weeks at the time. Everyone seems thrilled!
2.DEFINITELY finding out the sex of the baby..way too impatient to wait!! If its another boy, we're set on clothes and boy things. If its a girl, well I have tons of shopping to do!
3.Definitely a hospital!! I can see the reasoning behind homebirths and birthing centers...but I like knowing that the doctors are there if I need them to be! No problems last pregnancy and no need for antibiotics either time (so far at least!) GREAT hospital experience last time and my midwives support the natural, no meds method that we also used last time, so we feel 110% comfortable in hospital births!!
4.Taking prenatals, walking, keeping up with a 2 year old, not eating junk or chocolate this time, just doing what feels right and going as natural as possible. Did it COMPLETLY natural last time and hoping to do it as well this time!
5. Can not wait for this baby!! My hubby and I are sooo excited!! My son will be a great big brother!! Seems like so many people are pregnant right now!

1.We told everyone as soon as we found out was too excited lol
2.not finding out the sex, we didn't with our daughter and it was amazing finding out at the birth :D
3.Don't have a choice of home birth, they don't allow them where I live and I had a good experience with the hospital birth last time :D.
4.I take pregnancy multi-vitamins and just do alot of walking.
5. having my husband at my side when I give birth is wonderful but I also have my mum and mother-inlaw in the room and this time we are having a nanna as well :D

1. told my parents and a few very close friends and thats bout it so far. we are waiting to tell everyone else until we get the first ultrasound oct 27th so we know we are in the clear. my first u/s will be at 10 weeks

2. we plan to find out if its a boy or girl as soon as we can since neither my hubby or i like surprises plus we wanna be able to plan the nursery and everything we need.

3.definitely planning on a hospital birth since i have several medical issues. better safe then sorry. plus i have no pain tolorance so i now i want an epidural.

4. taking prenatals and folic acid and eating healthier then i have my entire life. plus i walk regularly and try to keep stress levels down.

5. the entire pregnancy is special and a blessing for my hubby and i since we have fertiliry problems and we already lost one pregnancy this year we are taking things day by day and taking nothing for granted and are grateful to be expecting our own little angel since all we have wanted for almost the last 6 years is to have a baby of our own and up until april of this year we had NO luck at it. but like i tell everyone just gotta have a little faith things will wor out in the end =)

1 When to tell family about it: We're trying to keep it quiet, but I've already told a few friends. We'll announce to the family on our son's 2nd birthday in 3 weeks, assuming our ultrasound goes well a few days before that. I'll be almost 8 weeks then.
2 Finding out the sex of the baby: We'll find out. I'm way too impatient not to.
3 Planning a hospital birth, birth center birth, or homebirth: Hospital for sure, I had a c-section last time but hoping for a VBAC.
4 Any special ways to keep baby healthy: Starting taking prenatals about a week ago. I'm also trying to eat much healthier since I'm very overweight. Still trying to lose the baby weight from my first ;)
5 Anything else special for you! This baby is very wanted and I really hope he/she decides to stick around!! I haven't had any previous losses, but have had issues w/ first trimester bleeding (both pregnancies). So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping all goes well!

1 told my parents and parents in law...we are waiting until we find out for sure the pregnancy is viable (i had miscarriage 6 weeks ago)
2 I have to find out!! I like surprised, but hate to wait..haha. I am hoping for girl, since i already have a boy.
3-hospital birth again- i was induced with first a month early due to preeclampsia. I hope it does not occur again, but i just feel better being in a medical environment just incase something goes wrong..and I like the meds..haha.
4 rest and try not to stress!

1 told co-workers due to continuous nausea, telling family at (canadian) thanksgiving
2 we will find out, because if it isn't a girl we are getting rid of some of our girl stuff!
3 hospital birth again - emma had some complications and I needed drugs. But I still plan to try as naturally as possible.
4 just taking my vitamins and trying to get rest...hard to do with a 2 year old!
5 nothing too special for me. Just going to play it as it comes and hope everything is okay! Excited to tell family! :)

Thanks Martha! I wanted natural labor too, but got my epidural after 24 hours of active labor! My dr said that also helped save his life, with my body relaxing it kept his heart rate steadier, even still with the cord, so she said without the epidural I likely would have gotten an emergency csection due to his stress. Marvelous medicine these days, good when you need it, but oh so lovely to avoid it! I'm going to plan on a natural birth again, and play it as it comes.

wow laura..what a crazy story...see thats where im so grateful for hospitals but would just be a bit uneasy in case i had deceided to do a home birtha nd something like that happened....i know..back int he day they didnt have what we do....medical wise...but babies also died more then...i think home births are amazing...and even if i wanted to do one...its different being in japan on base....not realllly able to do it...so prob just the hospital for me...this time im hoping little or no drugs...but last one i caved after 12 hrs of inducing with little progress.....good luck with this one..at least cord wrapping and meconium arnt likely to happen to this one...like hereditary things:) ill be praying for our group ..:) HEALTHY BABIES! AND MOMMIES

1 umm we told ours at 3 wks 4 days...a few hours after we found out
2 we will definatly find out the sex...if this one is a girl ...i might be ok with being surprised...bc we would have all the boy and girl stuff...
3 hospital birth....but my choices might be a little different than last time...ie less interventions...my husband was deploying a few days after my 1st was born so i was going to have to be induced so he could meet his son...he was going to be gone for 9 mo...i had my membranes stripped twice and and the 2nd time they broke my water...but then i had to be induced bc no contractions started....the more i read about less interventions the more i think i agree....but if i get induced again for whatever reason i might take the drugs again....
4i run/jog a mile in the morning with baby/stroller and my dog...and walk 2-3 miles at night...hoping to keep it up throughout the preg. or at least the walking part
5 i cloth diaper..make my own laundry detergent and wipe solution...enjoying being more and more natural wtih my little ones...o and baby wear/breastfeed!!! i luv my choices..and know they might not be everyone's but if anyone has q's about anything i posted...just ask!

I was always hoping for home birth but hubby said absolutely not, I had group b strep and needed antibiotics, and it turns out Eric had the cord three times around his neck and two lungfulls of meconium. I'm so eternally grateful I was in the hospital. We had no idea about the cord till his head was out and he was so blue and lifeless, with the meconium to boot I fear he might not have lived without intervention.
So now I'm a happy hospital birther! But I was born at home, no complications so I know it can work!

1: already told family, and a couple of coworkers.
2: do NOT want to find out this time
3: hoping for a home birth, crossing my fingers for no preeclampsia to force me into the hospital this time!
4: breastfeeding!
5: nothing against hospitals, but givig birth isn't a medical procedure, and it bothers me when it is treated as such. My first had to be induced cause of preeclampsia, but still did as natural as possible. No pain meds, no epi, just a tiny tear.

I guess I should answer too!
1 I already told everyone!
2 definately finding out the sex, I want to bond more with the baby and calling it 'the baby' doesn't do it for me!
3 hospital birth as I have group b strep and will need antibiotics.
4 I am taking my prenatal regularly which I didn't do with Eric!
5 mostly just waiting for the moment I feel him/her kick

1. Telling family this weekend (grandparents day)
2. Want a boy because we already have a girl, but wouldn't mind another girl since we have so much girl clothes, toys, etc already
3. Hospital birth - went terrific with first one
4. Just do what comes natural - house is already babyproofed :-)
5. Special because 1st husband was infertile, thought I had issues also, now I REALLY know it was all about him :-D
