Ry is taking some steps. She has been able to cruise the furniture and reach between gaps to move around standing up. She is walking behind a stroller walker pushing it. And just last night, she started taking a few steps 100% on her own!!! Up to 8 steps at a time so far!! So starting to walk 100% on her own!!

Are there any other babies taking steps or walking by themselves yet!??

We don't have stairs in our apartment but we were at bible study and Fierna crawled over to the stairs and started climbing up them! Thankfully I was right there because when she was about 5 steps up she turned around to try to sit down and totally fell. :) but I was shocked that she just was able to climb up that easily.

Poppy has started crawling and is a pro at pulling up now. She's also cruising the furniture brilliantly, she actually prefers cruising to crawling, if she's sat in the middle of the room and I leave instead of crawling after me, she crawls to the sofa then cruises along that to the door lol. Oh and she stood completely on her own without holding on to anything...I was soooo excited :-)

She's getting braver and trying more and more everyday. I catch her repeatedly climbing onto our couch and up on top of the back cushions, into our coffee table, our kids picnic table, our chairs, into toy boxes...she is into EVERYTHING! Haha. Rylie is definitely super mobile. I still wouldnt consider her a walker by far, but she's so close!

My Bethy has started cruising on funiture, she'll been pulling up about a few weeks, about a month, and she's been taking steps holding on to our hands for months. They are just getting so quick!

We were certain Fierna would skip crawling because she pulled to stand at 6 months and was easily cruising by 7 months and she was standing alone at just over 7 months but finally started crawling around 7.5 months! Now we wonder if she's going to forget about walking for a while and enjoy crawling for a bit. :) mostly she just prefers to be carried though. She's a smart baby!

Oh I know Roxanne but as well as trying to pull up she is also trying to crawl, so even if she only crawls for a small period as my son did it looks as though she is going to crawl before she walks....my son crawled at just over 8 months by 9 months he was walking so he only crawled for maybe three weeks at most lol

Sort of! Fierna has been cruising for about a month now and she's been standing alone for a few weeks. She hasn't tried to takea step yet but I'd assume it's not far off! She's almost 8 months and Eric walked at 9.5 months so it's fun to guess when she will walk!

Mine is cruising and every now and then he lets go and just stands there, no hands. He also has went from couch to coffee table. @Toni- some babies skip crawling and go straight to walking.

Poppy is starting to pull up on things and she is so painfully close to crawling (she has the comando crawl down but is close to actually hands and knees crawling) but she is only just 7 months old so is a little younger than most of your babies :-) oh and she's right on track to where her big brother was at this stage.

Rose is standing assisted and starting to cruise, but no steps just yet. She's 8 months today. I don't think she'll be long. She's doing a lot of downward dog standing (on hands and feet, butt in the air) and soon I can imagine she'll be standing up unassisted. Isn't it crazy how big our babies are now? My first didn't really take any sleps until she was almost one. :)

Well, Isa is cruising the furniture and doing a few steps on her own.
