This pregnancy is my second and it feels 100x different than my first. Just wondering if other ladies are feeling the same. :)
(Sorry if this was already asked somewhere...)

This is my second pregnancy. My kids will be 22 months apart. This time around is way different than the first time. I didn't even feel pregnant, no sickness, not much weight gain, not tired even though I was anemic... I'm tired this time probably because I am extra busy with work and taking care of a little one. Its strange that it can be so different.

This is my second pregnancy. I have a daughter who is two years old and who was a c-section baby. I also have a stepson who is also two. So this is my second pregnancy and third child. This time around I am hoping for a VBAC... This pregnancy has actually been worse than my first... With my daughter I hardly knew that I was pregnant. I did not have any morning sickness, hardly noticed anything... This time around I am sick every day... vomiting amost twice a week and feel so tired that I hardly have the energy to walk upstairs... I don't know why this one is much more difficult, but I hope that the birth is a lot easier than I had with my first...

This is my 4th pregnancy but will be my 3rd bub. My other two are a girl (may 08) and a boy (sep 09), so im going to have 3 under 3 - for a week or two anyway ;)
Ive found my pregnancies have gotten easier. First bub (which I lost at 16 weeks) I was sick 24/7 the whole pregnancy. My daughter I was throwing up everyday until about 15 weeks, my son I threw up twice in the first trimester, and this bub I havent thrown up at all - but I have felt nautious for all.
Hmm I actually felt MORE excited with my third (2nd child) and 4th (this one) than I did with my first - as I knew what to expect and how fantastic it was going to be. I absoulutely LOVE being pregnant.

Hi all, this is #2 for me too. My son is 15 months olds. I feel the same as a few on here mentioned, not as excited. Though this one was planned too. Unlike the first I'm not spending my days thinking about shopping and preparing for a new baby. I'm thinking about how I'm going to fit two kids into everything, and if my son will be ok with the new baby taking mommy's time, and if i'll ever EVER be skinny again, cause I never lost what I wanted to after the first baby. I worry that I'll never get any housework done now, as that's already a weakness and I'm only just starting to get better now that my son's able to play by himself a bit. But now a new baby!! I keep thinking, what we're we thinking!! And though i know I'm happy, there's so much more serious thought that seems to occur after you know what a baby really entails and you have another little person to think about still too.
And I'm soo much more achy this time around. Mostly things are the same, babies a bit lower, and like I said achy everywhere, my hips feel like their gonna split already and oddly enough my neck is killing me. I get headaches daily while not pregnant, but with the first I got maybe 3 in the 9 months, but this time my head is hurting even worse than normal. Blah. Oh well I'm almost half way...almost.

Absolutely! This is my seconds and though there are some similarities, it is completely different in so many ways! Can't wait to find out boy or girl to see if gender has anything to do with it.

This is my second pregnancy as well, I am 16 weeks pregnant now and am due on the 2nd of May. I was fairly sick with my first pregnancy and have been with this one too although I think its easing off earlier this time round, this time around I feel a lot further pregnant at this stage then i did with my daughter. My daughter is now 14 months so my babies will be around 20 months apart

i agree that its not as exciting second time round, all my time is taken up caring for my daughter who is 10 months old!!! and im 15+4 now so their going to be pretty close together :)

I'm due 5/31/11 :D and this is going to be our 2nd baby. My daughter just turned 1 on 9/29/09 and we were hoping they would be close together. We got our wish and they will be almost 20 months exactly :D I was SUPER sick with my first and this pregnancy seems to be flying by and with no sickness/pain or anything. Deffinatly different the second time around!

This is my second, I don't feel as excited this time, which I read is normal, it's not that we aren't excited, we really wanted 2 and we wanted to conceive right after our first turned one, which we did, but it just seems that taking care of and watching the first, I just don't feel the same excitement with the second. Other than that, seems to feel the same so far, never got nausea with either pregnancy, gaining weight again too quickly :-) No movement yet, but not quite 14 weeks along, didn't feel my first till almost 19 weeks. Had a little baby bump last week but it disappeared, I started a thread about that, hope it's nothing to be concerned about. I AM very excited to see how my daughter reacts to a baby though, if it's anything like with her baby dolls, it will hugs and kisses then throw on the floor when done with that :-D

This is pregnancy number 7 for me with one of them being a miscarriage. All of my pregnancy have been exactly the same. I have 1 girl and 4 boys. With all of them I was sick by 6wks and when I had my miscarriage I didn't get sick at all and I thought that something was wrong. I was right. I had the miscarriage at 7 wks. Now with this pregnancy I started getting sick at 3wks and 4 days the earliest that I have ever been sick. Finally starting to get over some of it I am 12 wks today. So for me it has been the same.

I am finding this second preg way harder than the first. I feel sick a lot more (can't keep any food down today and I'm 14 weeks!) and with Emma I sometimes have a really short temper, which then causes me to have a guilty crying fit. Overall I am not having fun yet!

this is also my second pregnancy. my first one ended in a m/c but it was totally different.. i was constantly horribly sick i couldnt put on weight and was soo tired i could barely function.. this time around i am tired but not nearly as bad constantly hungary to the point i am eating like a teenage boy and have almost non exsistent morning sickness and havent thrown up even once and i am 10 weeks preg with twins tomorrow... i guess you could say so far it is a textbook pregnancy... (knock on wood) lol. i am actually able to enjoy it this time around and i am already having to wear maternity clothes and bras cause ive outgrown most of my other clothes.. lol so sad.. plus ive been able to put on several pounds already too..
ive always heard each pregnancy is different and i guess that it really is true =)
