I make sure she has full belly before bed. We have a bedtime schedule where we read a book, say a prayer, give kisses, and say good night. I will usually stay in her room for like 5 min then leave the room. We have tried putting her to bed earlier and later, but she still wakes up wanting about a ounce or 2 from her bottle, sometimes more. I have tried weakening her bottle down over time until it was just water. I have tried rubbing her back. I have tried laying on the floor until she goes back to sleep. I do not like the cry it out method. I think it is too harsh. She has cried it out for a little bit during the day, but I can only stand her crying for like 5 min at a time. She gets 2 1 hour naps during the day. I have tried giving her a bath right before bed. I have tried giving her a pacifier, but she won't take one at all. I have tried do a lot of activities to tire her out during the day. Please help. I need a good night's sleep every night not just every once in a blue moon. I am willing to try anything as long as it works. Thanks.

Hey i had the same problem with my daughter when she was 7 months.

Now saying that I know you said you dont like the cry out method.

and i do know why trust me, but when my daughter goes to sleep now which is around 8:00, at 11 she wakes up for a bottle so i give her one with water and let her go to sleep with it and shes fine until 8:00 the next morning. Now i know a lot of people say bottles going to bed are bad. well i think as long as its water, its just as bad as a soother. HOPE it works for you!
