Remember not all Babies get these Symptons and Symptons can appear in any order.



1..Tense or Bulging soft spot

2..High temperature

3..Very sleepy / staring expression / too sleepy to wake

4..Vomitting / refusing to feed

5..Irritable when picked up with a high pitch or moaning cry

6..Blotchy skin / getting paler or turning blue

7..Extreme shivering

8..Stiff body with jerky movements or else floppy / lifeless

9..Breathing fast or with difficulty

10..Pin prick rash / marks or purple bruises on body

11..Cold hand and feet

12..Sometimes diarrhoea
