Monique,
Keep on Keeping on Sister. It is not a walk of shame unless you allow it to be so.
Your daughter benefits from your strength and courage, just to get help alone.
And if she is diagnosed and medicated properly at an early age, she is ahead of our game.
Their is a new sheriff in town and psychologically speaking we are light years ahead than what our parents went through or did'nt get. I am here to support you anytime.
Women empower Women.
I have a one and two year old, am adjusting my meds, and all that good stuff.
Smiles, Sunshine and Rainbows.
Smile it makes your day go quicker, and sometimes we have to fake it til we make it.
Hugs!

I will have to read your blog later, as I have ADD amongst everything else, so I don't sit well with reading long things, since I can't afford my Vyvanse right now!! My name is Monique and I am a type 1 BiPolar with ultra rapid cycling...I have schizoaffective disorder, mixed personalitly disorder and ADD!! I am a single mother of 3 very beautiful children!! Spent 4 yrs in the military and am trying to finish up Massage Therapy school right now...all I have to do is take 2 tests and pay for school and license then I'll be done....yippee!! I'm 30 yrs young now and ain't getting any younger I've come to realize through all of this!! My meds constantly are having to be readjusted and all of that fun stuff!! I'm sick of it, but I know it has to be done for my kids sake!! My 2 oldest (daughters) have been dxed with ADHD and my 7 yr old also has pre cursor symptoms of bp and a severe adjustment disorder...what this means to me...H E L L!! We finally have a med that is working for her ADHD but she starts therapy next week for her behaviors and to learn some tools to help her along the way, mainly though to figure out what exactly is going on in her head!! I feel for her so much that it hurts!! Cause I went through it all too, only difference is that I'm here for her to walk with her along this path to help her learn her way!! No one did that for me, I was alone with her as a baby doing this long walk of shame!! But hey I'm still here and still a great mommy to my babes and am here if anyone has any questions or just needs someone to talk to feel free to friend me!! Love to you all!!
