Hi all, I am a 22 year old extremely part time working mom with an almost 3 month old. I get sooo bored during the day and would love to find a playgroup or fellow mommies that want to get together, compare stories, lunch, ect. I am in the metro detroit area so if anyone is interested please let me know. I'd like to have a well established playgroup/friends for my BG before she is 9 months old as I don't have any close family with lil ones to play with on a weekly basis.
Let me know! THANKS!

I'd love to get together sometime. I have a 5 month old daughter and I'm in Dearborn. I'm 20. I've looked into a lot of playgroups but a majority of them I talked to were a little judgmental that I was so young and wouldn't allow me to join.

My email is Tonijmccann@aol.com. :)

It's never too early for a playgroup!!!! (Don't let anyone kid you- half the time it's for Mommy's benefit more than the kids ;-)

check out www.mops.org or hearts at home. These will be usually at a church and will have religious overtones but usually very welcoming and open!!

also, your local MSU Extention Office, Head STart, Early On type offices will know of any other playgroups in your area.

If you still can't find any, just goto a local library's storytime! Lots of other moms and maybe they can recommend something for you!
