I'm a Air Force wife of close to 2yrs and a mother to a 13mo. I'm not use to the military lifestyle or the stresses of everything. Any advice?

You got it girl! That is exactly what you have got to do, hold that man and show him how much you appreciate what he is doing. Good luck and if you ever need to talk just let me know!!

As well I dont like to think about it, I married my husband when we was in the stage of joining and I new that I would one day have to face this but I know I will get threw it and I have to be strong for him and I'll be waiting here with open arms when he comes home.

Hello ladies I am also an Air National Guard wife of 11 years. It can be very tough but i am so proud of what my husband does. He is in intelligence and does require to be away quite a bit for training. I actually gave birth to our second son in Texas while he was on orders at Goodfellow AFB. I did not care for that area at all!! But we are now in Virginia and loving it. My advice would be to support him as much as possible because it is also difficult on them as well, we dont know what they go through. So just be patient and supportive, it will be worth it the military has many benefits for spouses as well. Most spouses can get many discounts for continuing there education!! Any way stay strong for him and support him as much as possible. If you ever need to talk please dont hesitate!

Well I knew the National Guard out here does tours and trips but no actual deployment. I honestly don't know what aircrafts he works on... we got together after he was already in the military and I've had men in my family die in the military so I try to not know so much as to avoid worrying. Lol.

He's Surveillance Technician,They do deploy them to give the Active duty a break or back them up. Believe me it worries me to but I new it was something that could happen, but all I can do is pray he will be ok...
