We moved to Hill AFB in February. Still haven't met anyone. I have a 19 month old boy and another boy due in August. I'm going crazy sitting at home all the time. Any suggestions for meeting people here? I'm kinda shy at first which really doesn't help.

We are from Salt Lake so this was our BOP (so I'm a little biased). If you like outdoors stuff, its great. There are plenty of things to do here. The base is pretty nice. They have quite a few playgrounds and 2 splash pads.

were doing our bop soon and im trying to get more info on hill. whats it like there (were from texas but stationed in virginia now) we have a 2 year old and im a stay at home wife. thanks!

I live by Hill and work at the commissary. If you ever wanna get out of the house, let me know. I have a 2 year old.

We're stationed at Mcconnell but have you tried going to AFRG? They should have info on all the activities on base for kids. Most bases also run a playgroup (ours is 2x a day 5 days a week). I know that our base library also does story time once a week too. Just go talk to someone in the AFRG and see what there is on base. Also the playground or pool is a good place to meet other moms with kids.
