My husband is Air Force Reserve and in it's hard to meet other people in the reserves? Anybody new to the area?

We are at Carswell. Is your husband at the 301st or the 610th? My dh is an AGR with the 610th. We have been here a long time. You can send me a message here on Circle of Moms.

We're not at Carswell but my husband is also USAFR and it can be difficult to meet other reservists because they don't always live very close to base. We're at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS and it's the only reservist base in the entire state. Although the reserves usually put together different functions through out the year like family day or Christmas party. Does you husband have a civi job or is he on MPA orders? My husband is on MPAs (its orders to work for active duty). So I take my daughter to stuff on base like playgroup and we went to see santa. You could always have a party at your house and have your husband invite the guy (and their wives/girlfriends) he works with. Good luck!
