Lol Cassandra, I totally understand only talking to kiddos all day. Sometimes I find myself telling my husband "no no honey" lol. I would love for you to join us on our playdate!

siox village is a housing on post i only know because i had a friend live there lol I have been here on and off 2 years. I went home when my Hub deployed since i was preggers lol i will be 20 in may. I would love to do a playdate or something where i can converse with adults! Especially since the hubbys in field right now i talk to kids all day

lol yeah. cody's a sgt so he has to be serious too at work but he's completely different at home!! thank goodness for that! lol the military cuss a lot.. i dont mind it but i dont really care for it around my kiddos.. i can put up with it to a point.. i guess i've learned that they have to be a certain way around the guys and at work.. took me a while to get use to but i'm slowly getting it.. lol

Thats funny, I guess a lot of couples tease about their age lol. Sometimes I think the Army makes him silly at home now because he has to be so serious at work. WELL, maybe not, he was pretty silly before he joined the Army, lol even before we had our daughter

lol jessica.. cody and i tease each other about him being older. he's 25 not 24.. sorry for the typ-o. not a big age difference between us but i still like to tease him about being 25 already.. crazy!!! lol

i live off gate 3 i have 2 boys 3 and 1 and due with a new baby in september. The sioux village on base is pretty nice.

lol I can completely agree with that!! Dave says that I act older because I'm 6 months older than he is. lol But, he does make a great play pal for our daughter lol

haha right! my hubs acts like hes about 16 sometimes too! i'm 22 and cody's 24. i definitely agree with us women maturing faster then men!! especially after having children. i think it's natural for us to mature when we have babies but it takes a little longer for the dads to grow into their part. ya' know?

Totally understand wanting to do something for yourself. Before Hub joined the Army, I was the one who made the money and once he joined I stopped working so I could be home with Madyson. And now we are trying for baby #2 so we've definatley decided it would be good for me to stay home. We should def. have an adult play date later lol. So if you don't mind me asking, how old are you and your hubby? We are 23 but sometimes I swear my husband is 16 lol I guess its true what they say about women maturing faster than men.

lol yeah.. it's not always easy, but i support him 100%. we've been through an 8 month deployment but that's it. heard a rumor that he'll be deploying in 2011 for 12 months.. hopefully that's a lie! lol taht's a long time.. i'm a stay at home mom too! but just recently became an independent beauty consultant for mary kay. helps pass the time by. but since we've moved i havent done much with it since i dont know anyone around here.. hopefully i can get some parties going soon. i like it, make my own hours, get to spend time with my kiddos.. no one to answer to but myself! lol so far its been great. i didnt really do it for the money, just for fun and to have somehting to be proud of myself for. you know?? been a SAHM for going on 4 years now.. which im very blessed to have been able to do.. just want something for myself. you know? but my first two parties i had was in one weekend and i made over $400!! I was very excited.. and so was my hubby.. lol he wasnt too happy about me signing up but since i've been making some money he's happy now. lol anywho, after we have a couple play dates we should have a shopping date!! fun fun!! :o)

Wow, so you've already got the military wife thing down huh? lol This was our first PCS period. LOL I love shopping! Hubby will be gone for about 9 months I think, and right now I'm a SAHM but I might go to work just to pass time lol

yeah.. i can imagine! i know i would be really bummed to hear that.. in the army yes.. he was in the marines for 6 years.. we were in california for a while. got out and decided he missed the military but the marimes were over filled with people so he joined the army. so far he's really liking it. he says it's a lot more layed back then in the marines but he loves his job. we just got here last weekend. hopefully we can get some more play dates going and maybe even some shopping trips!! help you stay busy while he's gone! how long will he be gone foR? are you working or plan to work??

lol, I'm really excited too! He is a combat medic in 3rd/4ID. We just got here like 3 weeks ago and found out his unit is deployed so he will be leaving next month to join them for the remainder of the deplyment. which really stinks. Is this ya'lls first station?

oh ok. yeah we've been down there a couple times!! should be easy to find!! hopefully.. lol i'll give you a call if i get lost. haha my number is 325-280-4000 in case you need to call me too!! yay!! im excited!! so what's your hubby's MOS? my hubs is a combat engineer. he's with 2/4 ID. i think that means 2nd bergaid 4th special troops battalion.. not completley sure.. lol but the 2/4ID is right.. haha

Lol I love big dogs. All you do is go up to 115, turn right (lol I think its north) and you will see an Albertsons on the right i think like the next light, that street is Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. Turn right, go down until you see the park and lake on the right. 11 is perfect for me! Usually there aren't many kids there during the day. Here is my cell number: 210-792-4881. Hopefully the weather will be good Thursday!

oh awesome!! we're right donw the street from the dog park!! we have a dog too. but he's big.. and he can just about drag me so i let my hubby walk him.. lol im not sure i've seen the park you're talking about by the lake but i'm sure it wouldnt be hard to find. as far as a time.. how about 10:30 or 11?

We are from San Antonio. We live off Cheyenne Mount. blvd the next street up lol. Well, the playground is right on cheyenne mountain blvd its right before the small lake. There is actually a path right behind our building for us to walk down. Is is ok to go there? What time on Thursday do you want to meet? Is your son afraid of dogs? If we go to that park I may walk our dog down there. She is small and harmless, but just want to check first

we're from abilene texas. where abouts are you from?? yeah.. i havent explored much either.. lol but i have a tomtom so im up for anything. we're right outside gate 3. off of westmeadow dr. but there is an apartments complex right down the street from us with a playground.. i wonder if it's your apartments!? im not sure what it's called though.. but that would work for me!!

You know I have the same problem with my daughter, she can't talk very much yet, but she babbles alot and other kids are mostly older than she is and just run away from her, but all she wants to do is follow. I feel so bad for her...

Well we just found out that we got a house today in sioux village on base was wondering if anyone could tell me about the area. I have 2 boys 6 and 4 (Little one is Autistic) we were on the wait list since jan. but because of sons EFMP we got a house sooner. Would love to know more about the area. 4681-d Allworth Ct will be our new address. I did find a post that the people next to us have a daycare out of the house I dont know how I feel about that yet. I hate thin walls.....lol

I am a Ft. Carson wife but we don't live on base we live on the Air Force academy about 30mns north of the base, they had no housing avaiable when we were moving so i checked her and they had tons, lot nicer housing too! BUt it sucks for the 30min drive everyday that my hubby has to make.
