I've been here for three years..but will be here for another three, until 2012. We were crazy and volunteered to stay. So is anyone else here? My son is 11 months and I would love to find him a play buddy. I want him to interact with others his age range or just make friends with another mommy.

I'm in Baumholder, and have a 9.5mo little girl. we are here until 2012 we do playgroup a few times a week, a LOVE to travel to Ramstein and hit the pool there! im stateside right now for a few graduation, but i'll be back early june...add me on FB

I live in Baumholder i have a 3 month old so he a little younger. But we should be here for asome time too we volunteered to stay as well dont know what we where thinking.!!! It would be nice to talk to some one who has kids close with about a year of Gabe

Yea, I dont drink either, We go downtown sometimes and walk around, but mostly I just sit at home, my husband is an officer and he works ALL the time, but its all good, Mainz is pretty cool too, its like 5 minutes from here, the Rheine runs through it, Rudesheim is pretty cool too, its like 30 minutes from here, touristy but neat. We are trying to get used to this cold weather, we are from Texas and its a lot different, our cold fronts mean it might get down to 60 or 70 this time of year LOL

I've been by Wiesbaden but never actually to it. People here seem to love it but uhm considering how boring Baumholder is, I would say there is reason! There's not much to do in this little town cept for the bakeries or little shops..or if you like to drink which I do no longer of..only on rare occasion!

Im not in Baumholder, but we are in Weisbaden germany, my kids are a lil older, 9 and 16, we are here until January of 2012, I have already decided that we will not be staying LOL
