I always liked the idea of a classic tea party for a baby shower, and in case not everyone likes tea there will of course be other drinks but it would have the little finger sandwiches and little cakes, but also i think the "daddy's little soldier" theme was waaaay cute too

Mine was 3 peas in a pod, my wedding theme was 2 peas and a pod and now baby makes 3! there are various decor online that go with the theme!

I used my son's nursery theme. It was cute frogs and ducks (had to specify b/c there are some ugly frogs and ducks stuff floating around out there). But they didn't really have anything else other than sports stuff for boys when we went to Babies'R'Us and Target, so we went w/ the frogs and ducks and we had rubber duckies everywhere (2 REALLY big ones that have rain hats on their head that we found at Walgreens- We just got them to be funny, but my son still has them).. Froggy bath water temperature gauge and stuff (the temp. gauge has the froggy in a bath with bubbles and he looks relaxed. Really cute)... And we got a customized cake with frogs and ducks. Pretty yellow and green streamers and odds and ends.. And the baby shower at work didn't really have a theme (they had to throw it together last minute b/c I ended up leaving sooner than we expected due to my hubby coming back from AIT sooner).

I did my daughters room in tinker bell and fairies. My sisters did an excellent job with making the decorations things I would put on her walls. They even went so far as to get little fairy puzzels and we put them together glued them and now they are on her walls as well. She got tons of blankets and even her potty trainer is tink. They also got these flowers cut out of wood and decorated them though I didnt know why till I got them back with pics of everyone in my daughters life ie gmas great gmas uncles aunts mommy daddy. I still havent gotten them all back but every year I get one with a pick of her on it and we just add it to her flower garden on her wall. There are tons of Ideas out there just know how you want to decorate her room.

I threw a baby shower for my friend who is having triplets and her husband and her are keeping the sexes a surprise..so I used the website babyshower101.com website. It has everything: games, themes, diaper cake links (which are awesome for showers), decorations, favors, prizes..you name it it has it. We ended up doing a bubbles and sea animals theme..it turned out super cute. Good Luck!!!

My sister threw me a shower while I was home visiting last year. It was a storybook theme. Each guest gave me their favorite childhood book (like nursery rhymes and picture books) with a message written inside for my baby. It was a super long-distance shower, since the postal service will ship boxes of books for really cheap!

My theme was "Daddy's little soldier" Instead of using clothes pin we used dog tags for the Can't Say the word Baby game. Little kevlar helmets for things like chips and dips. There were many other Army like things that my aunt used, not really sure where she got them all. But it all turned out really great.

My sister is having a girl and we are doing pink and brown for her shower. But i had a friend who had the cutest theme, she was really into fashion, so they did "couture". Fancy little baby dresses, and fancy shoes... all the centerpeices were made with baby dresses and then she took them home for her daughter. super cute

We did fairies for my neice and it turned out really cute. We had found a really cute baby fairy picture and had it screened onto the cake which turned out really well. My two were winnie the pooh and the frog prince. I have boys, but the frog prince one was unisex (light green and yellows).

10)"Day at the spa", do the decorations in girls gettin there hair and nails done, sitting under the dryer, have lavender candles sitting out(they are a relaxer) and such. have a spa baby shower, where you do the cake and presents like normal but you get pedicures too..with my first pregnancy i had like 3 showers..lol..and one of them was a spa party(i have a boy, we didnt decorate spa like but we did the pedicures and makeup and it was fun)
